can the petitioner sign the ds 230 form?

hallo again..

i'm going to submit the DS 230 form next week with all the original documents...my Question is can i sign the DS 230 form instead of my wife in india.

if she prints it from the internet and mail it to me..its going to take atleast 1 week or more...

SO IS IT OK IF I CAN SIGN THE DS 230

I personally would not recommend that!!! But again, if you are a really good signature forger you might be able to get away with it.

No, the DS-230 is all about the beneficiary therefore, he or she needs to sign it. My husband filled it out in Colombia and it also took about a week or so for it to get here, but waiting is part of the game.

Kanna04 ask your wife to sign it with blue ink and then express mail it thru DHL. It will take 3-4 days.

07-30-2008 CSC received I-130

08-05-2008 Touched

11-25-2008 NOA2.

I personally would not recommend that!!! But again, if you are a really good signature forger you might be able to get away with it.

I know you're only joking, but any advice such as this violates VJ TOS.

Not only is it advice (jokingly or not) to do something illegal, but someone could read your comment and not know that it's a joke.

The last thing we want to do on VJ is cause problems or errors for those on their journey.

DS 230 is a visa application. The visa applicant must sign the form. The petitioner signing would be "forgery".

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
