Hello to everybody here! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :D

I just had my biometrics done at Oakland, California. They were almost empty there and it took me about 10minutes to do everything. Didn't expect it to be so fast but I'm glad it was. Finding a parking spot was a pain in the ### though.. took us 20 minutes to find the right spot, thought i'd be late. Well anyways....

I just wanna ask how long do i need to wait for my EAD card and the interview for the Green card? Thanks!

PS: anybody who lives in Fremont, CA... let's hang out! Im' bored! :P

It really doesn't matter when you do biometrics. EAD is supposed to be approved within 90 days of them receiving the AOS package, but the average is 60-70 days.

So if biometrics is 1 month after you sent it in, figure 1-2 months more to receive your EAD.

Are you sure about this? My Biometrics appointment was one month after sending out the application, BUT they moved it up 3 weeks due to the holidays. I thought that meant I would have to wait an additional 3 weeks before getting my EAD. So there's a chance I can get my EAD 2 weeks or one month after biometrics?

By law they are supposed to approve EADs within 90-days - so if they move your biometrics, they're still under the gun to get it approved within that same 90-day time frame. (On average they folks are getting their EAD in 70-90 days.)
