Socialism is a failed theory that does not work at all. Show me one example of a financially sound successful socialist experiment!

California is failing because they elected a freaking moron as their leader that has no clue about what he is doing and cannot unite or lead the state, and I think it is ironic and so funny, this same opportunist that exploited the recall of a sitting governor for raising taxes to shore up their budget shortfalls or cut services was bounced out and in comes Arnnie with his bubbly sunshine and guess what, come to find out the guy he replaced was right on all this many years ago and now Mr Governator has to eat crow and do the same damn things that the Democrat governor before him did and now it is needed and ok and alright because the great Arnnie says so. What a joke this guy is, and I do not feel sorry for california they were so stupid to vote this fool in and now they get to pay the piper! Enjoy.

Proof, the socialist experiment has FAILED!

Um, we have a Republican governor. Have you heard of Arnold?

While I don't like paying more for gasoline and taxes, the Democrats plan would have possibly generated $9 Billion more in revenue, and that would have closed the budget loophole. I'm hoping something can be done about this soon, as my salary depends on it.

Of course, people don't like having their auto registration tripled, and this is key to why Gray Davis was voted out of office. I voted for Cruz Bustamante, but 2nd on my list was Gary Coleman!

Interesting, you mean you do not feel that paying taxes is the right Democratic Patriotic thing to do per Jo Jo Biden?

now where is that crowd that crows about putting so much into the federal budget?

if our citizens weren't being extorted by the irs and being made to pay more than their fair share, we'd have more money to run our own states.

i mean a states contribution to the federal treasury should be proportional the amount of federal monies spent in that state.

Sure you did and now you have even more problems like losing your job thanks to that short sightedness, thus you reap what you sow.

Well I agree with you, just making sure I was understanding you right. And would it not be nice if all this money for taxpayers being spent were to be better handled, think of all the pork and waste at every level!

Ever heard of a RINO?

And how does $9 billion fix a $42 billion shortfall?

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

A few years back the state workers were getting IOUs instead of pay checks. I wonder if they ever collected

As I recall Arnie laid off a whole bunch of government workers a few months ago (a really staggering number as I remember) and put a lot of others on reduced hours.

They were talking about taking unpaid leave but the state regulations says they can't so more people had to be put ouf of a job. Orange County is attempting to do unpaid leave but am not sure they will get away with it, funding comes from the state and the feds. We have already lost 224 people in my agency and if we can't do furloughs we will most likely loose another 625.
