Well after a RFE and an interview last week, I've just received the greatest email:

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 19, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register

On my interview they only told me that decision was going to be mailed to us, but they didn't say if I was approved or not. Well I am!!

Hi Andersen,

:star: Again, Congratulations, Andersen for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star: (See, we knew you would be approved after your I-751 interview, even though they didn't tell you afterwards!)

After such a long 1 year+ wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Andersen!

Good luck too on your Citizenship application and the rest of your immigration journey!
