hubby and I were playing a little basketball at the gym earlier today and I was in the process of trying to get the ball away from him when my nose connected with his back... ouch... it didn't bleed or anything but it hurt like the dickens...

it still is bothering me a little ...

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

That's great that your Daughter and cousin are coming to visit krikit, you get a lot of visitors!

So I was just thinking about my visitors. This season has been crazy. My sister in November, my parents in December, my friends in January, my cousin from Canada and my daughter in February, my friends and my inlaws in March, and my cousin from England and her husband in May. Looks like April is free. Does anyone want to book it before it's taken? :hehe:

So I did it! I finally apologized for something that took place almost 25 yrs ago...

I was a bully in Elementary school to this new girl who moved to our school.. and by bully I mean put gum in her hair, threw sticks at her, and verbally abused her every chance I could get... She Face Booked me a while back... and I have been meaning to just say how sorry i was and how wrong that was of me.. it couldn't have been an easy time for her, and I really needed to say that it was wrong..

Wow, did I ever have you pegged wrong! :lol:

My good-guy-gone-bad story. Cute, cute, cute guy. Long hair. Harley Davidson + Jetta. Stupid as ####### (yup, he was not a brainiac). Sweet. No vices. I treated this poor schmuck like #######. For more than 2 years..... a decade later, he murders his wife on my birthday :blink: and is now in the slammer. He was soooooooooo damn cute I am sure he is now known as "Miss Cell D". My mom said it all stemmed of me being mean to him :lol:

So I can't go see Britney Spears due to my husbands cousins bachelorette party.

Anyways I put up the tickets last week and started the bidding at 1.00. I paid 166.00 for both tickets. They just sold for 399.00! :o

My bad boy story..... I ended up dating a guy who wouldn't take no for an answer. :lol: (Apparently I'm an easy mark..... all you have to do is keep asking until I finally give in just to put a stop to it.) Anyway, super nice guy. We would laugh and laugh. You know..... those big deep from the belly laughs. It was wonderful. Anyway, he was a Gemini so I would never know which one of them would turn up next. One day he was a super sweetheart, the next he was super mean. I finally had to tell him I couldn't see him anymore. Such a shame, really, because he really was a lot of fun. Let me see if I still have a picture.

tee hee.. i don't think this girl would kill anyone.. but I was glad I did say sorry..

And yep.. I was a bad thing in Elem. school.. our school was pretty rough.. you either were a bully or were bullied.. sad really.. i have NO idea what the teachers were doing during the lunch hour.. certainly not supervising the kids on the school yard that's for sure!
