What does that mean? Different things to different people. It's called a 'gray area'. Is smoking a few joints when 16 'abuse'? I would say no and others would say yes. But don't sell yourself out if you don't have too. That's all.

I just spoke to an Immigration lawyer in the USA recommended by someone on a Progressive Rock Forum I frequent. The man said to me that he has no doubt that I will get the visa due to having been so honest. He said that he is sure that the person would have remarked that I should be granted a visa once all the conditions he stipulated in his letter have been met.

He said he would review both the letter I am to hand in and the letter Paul is to give them at no cost to either of us.

He also said once I am in the USA that I should call him to say hello as he thinks I am a rare breed.

He said he would have loved to see the look on the face of the Consular Officer... said the man must have had his eyes glaze over coz of someone volunteering the truth instead of bull-######.

Anita, I know you're going through a difficult time, but I commend you for having the courage and strength to be honest and true. You're a very good person, and you deserve the best, I hope they look at that and wonder just how many of them would have that courage when faced with the possiblity of it effecting their lives in such away and get this over with fast for you
