Hey everyone.

Just wanted to see how you are all keeping. So now that December is over and done this is it now. The chance to become a CSC December filer is now over, our lines are now closed...

So where are you all? There must be more than this.... Well if this is it then that's OK.

Well I hope everyone is doing well. As time goes by it brings us further away from the day we sent our petition but closer to our day of approval... Hopefully.

So Deanna is coming to visit me in the UK in only 4 days after nearly 100 days apart. So I am very excited about that.

Anyway, hang in there everyone and look forward to hearing from you all.

Hey all I am a December filer for the VSC. So far so good already had a touch on 12/23/2008. Good Luck to everyone!! Can't wait until we all start hearing good news!!

Well its January 8th today! and still no word if the check has cashed at CSC and still no NOA1!! I am starting to get nervous! Althought I know it was not received until December 31st!! Does it still make me December filer if my NOA1 date will be January 2009 ?

Yes of course it does. Ha.

They received it in December so I think your OK.

Well your NOA1 may already have been issued but you will receive the hard copy at a later date. Our NOA1 was issued on the 19th but we got it in the mail on the 29th. Seems like they use the slowest possible mail.

Now comes the wait. Looking for touches and making sure we have our ducks in order for the next batch of paperwork. We're doing this without an attorney so it's slightly stressful at times, researching, re-researching, and double checking everything we do.

Congrats on Deanna's upcoming visit! I'm going to see Patricia in April.. 3 months and 27 days (but who is counting) since I put her on a plane here in Chicago. This will be my first trip to the UK, and my first chance to meet my future in-laws... other then on web cam.

Hi, we filed our 129F on December 5, 2008, and were issued NOA1 as of December 8, 2008.

I read that some November filers in California received their NOA2s this week! Yoohoo, fingers crossed!

Your dates match ours. We priority mailed our 129F on Friday Dec 5th and our NOA1 was issued on Monday the 8th.

I also saw some November and October filers in the the NOA2 list this morning. I was going to write them and ask what Congress-critter they had in their back pocket.

Well its January 13th today! Still no word on if the check has cashed! I know I read somewhere that the avg time the check takes to cash is 8 days? Is that business days? I am just getting freaked out! Of course don't have NOA1 yet or case number! Should I be worried? Looking at other peoples timelines they got their NOA1(date, not received) within a few days of sending!!

Well Deanna is on her way to the UK to visit me as I type. She is landing in the morning and I am so so excited. Really don't know what to do with myself. I mean I need to sleep but knowing she is on her way and as every second passes she gets even closer to me is just an amazing feeling. It has been almost 100 days since I saw her and it feels so long ago. I really don't know how I will behave when I see her. I mean it will be like meeting all over again.

I'm a mix of nerves and excitement right now. I just really can't wait to see the love of my life in person.

I hope you are all well and that you see your loved ones soon or are with them now.

Hey there dimanui! I noticed that you are from Omaha! I will be relocating to the Omaha area once my K-1 visa is approved! I am going to be visiting the area for the first time next week with him! I hope the people will be friendly and easygoing! I am so excited to see our (his) future home! Anyways, I better get all my ducks in a row here for the POE, ha they should know me by name by now, but you never know!
