Okay guys, we got case complete and NVC is still scheduling for January. Does anyone know how long they go over if they are over the scheduling time? I am just trying to see if we are actually going to make it or not. Has anyone not been scheduled yet that got case complete last week?

They should've been done scheduling appointments last Friday, but I guess it's their call on when to start and stop making appointments. They usually go over if the first day of the month lands on a Wednesday or Thursday, but they usually stop the last day of the second week. You will need to keep calling to find out.

It appears to me that they are just a little behind but we will see. I will pray for January interviews for all of us. I am going to call again tonight to see if anything changed for me.

Bummer,

I called last night and the officer i spoke to said that they were scheduling as we spoke that i should call back later this week or early next week to find out if we made January. Well, i of course called this morning and some serious sounding lady said that there is no date yet. I asked if they had closed January, she said that the case was just completed on Friday that it still would not make the January dates, she even told me to call back in January. That is too long to wait. Geeze.

It takes approximately 4 to 6 months to get and interview for Guyana Embassy after case is completed. However, I will pray l continue to pray that you get a date earlier than that because I know the stress that one goes through playing the waiting game.

Don't judge life by one different season. Perserve through the difficult patches and better time are sure to come in time. Always remember that:

Thanks but it will not take 4 to 6 months for us to get an interview. No one i know has taken that long to get an interview and i have had several family members filing paperwork.

I am sorry no offense to you but i refuse to accept that after all we have gone trough that we now have to wait 4 to 6 months just for an interview. That is unacceptable. I have been living apart from my husband for years now, my daughter is growing up without her father.
