I have a question. I should know better, but can someone clarify?

If we get approved for both K-3 and I-130 (which is what is happening lately)...

If we go with the I-130, we basically send all that stuff to NVC to process, etc.

If we go for the K-3 then do we still send all that stuff? Or can we wait and send it all when he gets here? I don't care about extra expenses or his employment authorization. I only care about getting him here asap. So in the final stages, is the K-3 faster? Or doesn't matter once both petitions are approved?

Narina, seems if u follow shortcuts and u r on top of the situation, at NVC u really have some control. look at CJ-Vasani timeline. in 2 weeks hes almost ready with NVC for CR1. for K3 they sheduled his interview at beginning of april, so if everything goes well, he can change the K3 interview for a CR1. doesnt hurt to go both ways same time, and see how things work out. keep options opened. he's my guru now, and I really hope we can go fast through NVC too. but is a bad time now for us, with holidays and all. and my husband will be here from 23rd dec till 4th of jan. so in that time we'll be in stand by. only thing well be able to do will be call or pay some things online, but not send any package. still, I am happy we r out of VSC

met Lee: sept 2005

married here: 23 feb 2008

I 130 sent :16 march 2008

I 130 NOA1: 20 march 2008

NVC received and assigned case number for both: 18 dec 2008

(break in the process- Lee comes to spend holidays here 22 dec-5th jan 2009)

DS 3032 generated :? ?

DS 3032 sent : 26 dec 2008 (friend sends it, based on how fast Ds-3032 was generated for Sracastillo and others who had same NOA2 date as me-risky, but worked)

received AOS package and IIN number in mail : 29 dec 2008 (same friend picks up mail and sends us the IIN)

pay the AOS bill online: 29 dec 2008

AOS shows as PAID: 30 dec 2008

my husband goes back and bags with our papers get lost : 5th jan 2009

package IV fee bill generated and paid online: 7th jan 2009

recieved bags and papers: 9th jan 2009

sent AOS package: 9th jan 2009

package IV bill shows PAID and sending package IV : 12 jan 2009

case complete: jan 20th

interview march 30th 2009

I129F

NVC mails I129F package to bucharest embasy

up to this day, no package received at embasy here -one more reason to prove in my case I129F was just useless

I'm so sad right now.

I sure hope there isnt another barage of noa2's this week.

I woke to a cold apartment this morning, the last thing I want

is to wake up with my wife here, to keep me warm.

She's not a morning person like me either. does this raise compatibility issues?

wow, this may be something to slow down the process. It could go something like this.

dear vcc, please dont approve our petition yet. I dont want my wife getting angry with me

as I tend to grope in the morning. thank you and good day. Your loyal patron, Birch

(disclaimer: big brother, just in case your watching, this is tongue in cheek.

of course, approve my GD visa)

faxing the congressman again now. lol

we'll see what excuse VSC has now.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

who???

The name was Chev and Danica. But antiwaiting pointed out that they were a stand alone I-130 and were probably transferred to CSC (thus, being approved before us pitiful souls that went with the K-3 to "speed things up").

I think or I Desiman, Monica and Isha, CJGator, Chris e Jessica, are approved before the end of this year.... Myself,, yeah maybe in January,,, what do you think? I had wish me an appoved gift from Santa Claus this year,,,

I've stopped projecting when I might get some good news because I've always been wrong. I'm just going to pretend like I don't care anymore... it's pretty depressing...

ok, desi will not get approved anytime soon.

My prediction is that VSC loves his petition so much that they want to keep it,love it,hold it and protect it forever.
