Hello everyone! I know it has been a long time. I have been well and Nana and I are great. So many blessings. We just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary on November 20th. So now we are about to start the AOS process, since it has been 2 years that we have been married. Ålso, Nana's visa will expire in a year. I waited until our anniversary so that Nana could get a 10-year greencard. How is the AOS process? Any advice? I cannot wait until we don't have to worry about this any further!

12/14/06--I-130 mailed

12/23/06--NOA1 received

2/19/07--touched

2/27/07--approved (via email)

I-129F Timeline

1/6/07--I-129F mailed

1/16/07--NOA1 received

1/29/07-- Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

2/8/07--touched

2/28/08--approved (via email)

3/1/07- Case transferred to NVC

3/12/07- Case forwarded to US Embassy In Ghana

4/17/07- Packet 3 received (my husband picked it up in accra)

4/25/07- Packet 4 received

8/20/07- Medical (Part I- Vaccinations/ Physical)

8/28/07- Medical (Part II- X-Rays/ Blood Work)

9/12/07- Picked up Medical Results

9/13/07- SUCESSFUL K-3 INTERVIEW!!!!!!

9/21/07- PICK UP VISA!!!

10/7/07- POE=JFK

10/30/07- EAD application received at Vermont Service Center

3/10/08- FINALLY APPROVED AFTER 4 MONTHS! (THANK GOD!)

3/15/08- CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL!!!

5/30/08 My husband started working!

3/12/09- Mailed out AOS papers

7/15/09-Initial interview in NYC = Success!!!

7/25/09- received 10 year green card in the mail! (YES!)

Congratulations! I'm in the AOS process now and it's pretty smooth going. I got transferred right away to CSC so just waiting now. Just make sure you use the right paperwork, some are dated off just a little bit and it's messing people up.

Biometrics: 9-18-2008

AOS Transferred to CSC: 9-25-2008

Requested EAD Expedite: 11-12-2008

EAD Card production ordered: 11-12-2008 changed to 11/17/2008 Why? (I hope it doesn't change every week!)

Received AP: 11/17/2008

Received EAD: 11/22/08 (Praise God!!)

AOS RFE: 1/29/2009

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009

AOS was pretty smooth. We applied during the 2007 fee change rush. We weren't able to view any of our cases online (AOS EAD or AP) until AFTER they were approved. Otherwise...flawless and done in about 3 months. Good luck!

Just go on and apply, as long as you send the right amount of money it should be

received NOA1 in mail Oct. 03,03

RFE - received in mail March 29th,04

RFE returned April 17th,04

RFE received April 21,04 at NSC online

NOA2 received April 29th,04 via online

NOA2 received May 03,04 in mail

NVC receives file May 6th,04

NVC sends file to Nigeria May 11th,04

Lagos receives our file, notified thru e-mail May 19th,04

Victor goes and picks up packet #3....May 20th,04

Sent request for earlier interview date via e-mail May 20th,04

May 27th, Lagos won't change date.

August 16th, 2004 fly to Nigeria for Victors interview

August 19th, 2004 Interview date, visa approved.

August 25th, 2004 Victor picks up passport with visa stamp.

August 26th, 2004 fly back to USA

September 18th, 2004 Victor arrives in USA, Lord willing.

October 9th, 2004, we become husband and wife

October 25th, 2004 I learn that I'm pregnant.

Feburary 25th, 2005 AOS Appointment

( went to appt. and requested a reschedule)

June 7th, 05 gave birth to a boy child.

July 5th, 05 Victor packs he suitcase and leaves for good.

July 2005 2nd AOS appointment

( went and requested a reschedule )

August 2005- I file for divorce. and withdraw immigration paperwork.
