Just received a call from my Congresswoman's office. They received a reply back from NVC. What the NVC had to say was AMAZING...and I felt all of you need to know what they had to say, it said...

We received the approved petition on Aust 24th, it is currently undergoing additional processing and will be forwarded to the Embassy upon completion.

WOW!

I don't know why, but I found this post absolutely HYSTERICAL!!!

I think we need sort of a to crack some of NVC codes .....

Boghy found out something I do not think anyone on the internet has with the a, b, c since the beginning of time 15.gif

People we have to organize - we have people from all over here - they know people from all over - that also know people from all over - SOMEONE HAS GOT TO KNOW SOMEONE WHO EITHER WORKS FOR NVC OR DHL ....lol

C'mon - let's get networking and find those people and start asking questions olympic.gif

You will all get out of AP - but we all know others will come after us - and go though this same ####### without answers, without time frames

So if we could at least use some of this time being constructive - and maybe we can work up some cheat sheet - to ask admins to post here - then maybe it can help others down the road.

I know I am out of AP - BUT is still too new - lol - is like "dreaming" I am not sure to believe is some horrible joke on NVC part 39.gif

But can't leave here as we have bonded ..lol and would let any of you just sink in despair

so start asking who knows who and lets get some possible clues to this madness

Here is to another day of hopes of "your package has been sent"

boghy - did u call dept of state ?

No, but i did sent an email to my congressman a minute ago.

Wow! I emailed my Senator yesterday too. Must be get to know your congressman day. I think it will help because when I called them about our petition at USCIS, two days later it was approved. Maybe a cowinky-dink but im hoping. Its probibly also a good thing that so many of us are using our reps. to make a stink under NVC noses, because they sure make this part of the process stink for us. Here is to the near future (F)

Is AP lasting only a few days for anyone these days, or is it always a month or longer? I have found no way to track data like on Igor's list for USCIS.

It is really unfair that some people get 75 days at USCIS, others with similar cases get 120 days at USCIS then 30+ days of AP.

05/04/09 -- K1 visa, NOA-1

09/18/09 -- K1, NOA-2

01/26/09 -- Interview passed in Moscow

03/02/10 -- POE, JFK airport

05/23/10 -- Wedding!

11/16/10 -- 2-year green card approved

04/01/13 -- 10-year green card approved

11/23/13 -- N-400 mailed

It seems that AP now is running around 35+ days...just 1 month ago people were getting out at about 28-34 days.

Oh, and today is day 39 for me. I have decided I am only going to call on Wednesday and Friday evenings. I can't take the hearing the same depressing news EVERY day from the zombies at NVC. And it also seems that congressional inquiries mean NOTHING to them.

or... do what i do, check DHL from 3PM EST, and if you see anything there that goes to your location, call NVC to see if its yours.

Remember A, B, and even C.

Crazymazy's package was with B, so try your luck there if you don't want them to answer you as zombies ...:)

The only list i know about is this one http://apnvc.info/ you will see that there are twice as many from VSC, I guess they do twice the petitions as CSC. By the way i had 161 days at vsc, now this.
