Just wondering it it was pretty common to get your case transfered. Got I- 485 transfered to cali service center. good or bad? I figured it would go to vermont like the I- 129, but guess i was wrong.

any thoughts?

Yup...they all get transferred from Chicago. :) Some go to CSC (which usually means you will not do an interview) and some go to the local office (which means you probably WILL have an interview). From what I've seen, most K-1 adjusters get transferred to Cali. So, yes...it's normal. Congrats on the next step and good luck! :)

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.
