Sorry I can't help you, but I just wanted to say you won't need that for INS anyway...don't get me wrong...every little bit helps so I understand why you want to do it...but I'm sure you probably(right??) have other things with both of your names on it you can use...or maybe i'm out of the loop here and you don't? Hopefully you have rent receipts, (or..you're living with the folks aren't you..darn..um...) Hmmm. There MUST be loads of other types of evidence you can bring tho...any credit cards, etc etc that Shannon could be added to?

Just a sidenote...I just checked the Blockbuster card in my purse...we don't have one here really nearby...an hour 1/2 or so is closest...but when I was in England and we rented movies, just for kicks I got another card for ME...and it does have Craig's name on the back..not mine, even tho I'm an authorized user...so, it must be their policy. Sorry you couldn't get them to help you out tho!! M.

If she can open her own type of account anywhere as well, it would help...anything with her address showing the same as yours,etc... all the best with all of it...M.

If you have to sign up for your own account which will show your name. You also have to show two forms of identification to get it.

Sorry I didn't read your post correctly. They will only add your name to his account but the account will just show his name. Did you ask to make another account showing both your names on it?? My husband just ended up making his own account because he left my card when he went to rent a movie.

Thanks for the replies folks. They gave an additional card so i guess thats just what we will have to use. I just think its weird that they didn't issue a card with both names as its a joint account now. However!

Michelle and Craig: We have a file of other documents including: joint savings/checking account, bank statements, car insurance, life insurance, rent agreement, rent and water receipts, cell phone account, united states dog agility association membership, gift receipts, event tickets, library card, photos, mail, junk mail, cards, poetry and I can't even remember what else! We're all set for tomorrow though and ready to face the Immigration people, but I just wanted the blockbuster card as an extra thing

The way to find out if you love someone or not, is by talking to them.

The more you talk to them the more you either hate them or love them.

I always took my Mom's card and then showed my ID so they could see we're related. When we had an late fee is when I pretended not to know my Mom.
