Ok guys I need your help on what we are to do next. We do have a lawyer so he will probally let me know soon but we want to try to get as much done together before I have to leave on the first and then Keith can just copy over to whatever papers he is sent. I dont understand the packet 3 and 4 part and I have researched it but am not good at that. Is there somewhere I can get a copy to look at?

Also does he need a police report? and if so should we try to get that now as I have read it takes 4 weeks or more to get it.. I just want to get it done

Ignore the part about the I-184, you need the I-134 and supporting documentation instead (which you take to the interview). The details on the page are not specific to the K-1 visa which is irritating but that info coupled with info from this site should give you enough info about what to do next.

YES lol... Now from what I have read it says passport, divorce papers, 3 pictures , I-134 and birth certificate. I know we have to take proof of relationship so I am working on a scrapbook of everything ( which I am loving ) ... I have read about a packet 3 and a packet 4 and alls I have found on this is that the embassy will mail this to Keith? and the packet 4 is medical date and interview date, Is this correct? also in the packet 3 is there paper work he will have to make out and if so do you know what the questions are on it..

I need to breathe lol , I am so excited and nerveous at the same time.

Packet 3 and 4 will be mailed to Keith. Packet 3 will basically be the forms (immigration forms and medical questionnaire), and a checklist which is the same to the one you mentioned on the website. They should also give you information on how to book the medical as you have to do that part yourself. Then once you complete the bits it tells you to do in P3 they will issue P4 which is the interview date.

You can find the forms on the embassy site or go to 'Embassy Info' at the top of this page and find UK. that will tell you the forms. Form DS-156 needs to be done online.

Ok so I was reading the post this morning and I read one about a girl getting her approval and then just finds out it was a error.. well that got me scared because I havent recieved a email at all so I thought ohh nooo please nooo

I called the number at the next place that was posted on one of the other forums I think it might be NVC sorry I dont know lol but anyways , I had called on monday and the girl said no sorry , wait 3 weeks then call back.. I thought 3 weeks ok.. NOT LOL.. so I called this morning and a nice man answered and he asked me questions and then he said ok what can I do for you and I said you got it and he said no sorry and then he chuckled and he said it was sent to the embassy yesterday . he gave me a new number ( case number ) and a phone number to washington Dc so if I have any questions.. Now is there a place where we enter the new case number to watch how it is going like we did with the reciept number... Is it a different website or still uscis?
