Do you have any idea what the DJIA was a year ago? On October 11, 2007 the DJIA hit a day high of 14,280 points (Thank you Bush)...The day Obama got elected the DJIA closed at 9,625....It is 8,000 right now!!

Bush didn't exactly have opposite policies. In 2004, he spoke of the "problem" of many people who were qualified being unable to buy a home because they couldn't afford the down-payment, and proposed government help. Uh....if you cannot afford the down-payment, precisely how are you "qualified"?

"Change" was just a slogan to get elected. Stupid voters.

one thing about elections - we get what we deserve.

The Clinton administration was much more successful than Bush's.

the clinton administration also didn't have to deal with a terrorist attack on us soil. but that same administration, through negligence and arrogance, got us run out of somali by a bunch of thugs.

Many think that in the absence of the Bush administration, there may not have been a terrorist attack on US soil.

Others think the Bush administration has responsibility for ignoring and/or provoking threats.

good idea except for one glaring flaw: of the 19 hijackers that 9-11 is attributed to, Marwan al-Shehhi, Mohammed Atta, Ziad Jarrah, Hani Hanjour, Khalid al-Mihdhar, Nawaf al-Hazmi (7) were in the usa before the nov 2000 elections were even held.

Talk about glaring flaws..."alleged hijackers", not to mention things like "cells" that are not activated until needed, or that they could have been

recruited after arrival in the US. I didn't say it was my idea....but interesting that you think it's a good one.

Honestly, I'm more concerned about ignorant Americans than I am of foreign terrorists.

Well...the Dems have been in the majority in Congress since 2006. Look into some of the quotes from Barney Frank on the House Financial Services Committee. He ain't the only fool on Capitol Hill. The Hill is full of clueless fools.
