I know of people who think he could be the anti-Christ because of the way he can get people to like him so much, he is very charismatic, and people even around the world were treating him like the biggest thing since sliced bread. I don't totally blame people, since the bible gives characteristics to the anti-Christ. One friend was an Obama supporter until he went to Europe and she saw crowds chanting for him everywhere. It freaked her out and she started thinking he might be the anti-Christ. She was partially joking, but I was surprised since she was a hardcore Obama fan. I didn't think she'd flip flop like that.

I do think some people go over the line and it gets nutty. But I know some nuts who adore Obama so... Nuts are everywhere.

Playing logical a little bit here...

But if the entire deal with the Antichrist is real, then there is nothing anyone can do other than think about what they need to do to not burn in Hell. So those that feel they may want to label one politician and his mass appeal can also prepare themselves for the coming of the Antichrist and the subsequent tribulations. *COMPUTERIZED LOL*

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Well to be honest, the people who think it would be real probably aren't worried about burning in Hell. They'd be more worried for the people around them, not themselves as much. But then you do have the kind who store up on food and ammo...I do find that weird. (sorry to anyone if you do that).

That's the thing.... shouldn't all of the people who believe in this impending doom stuff be happy that the end is near and they will be going to puffy cloud-ville? What's to be worried about or what's to prepare. They should just get on when with their lives and when they are zapped upwards... well good for them.

I know...well anytime someone really popular comes along, "anti-Christ" gets thrown around. But if an anti-Christ really is going to exist(I can hear snickers, shh hehe), then it's better to always be on guard and be wrong than to ignore the whole thing.

With his fighting against a terror foe like OBL, Bush Jr can also be seen as an Antichrist under some of the same criteria used before.

to the anti-Christ... :P And the reason is not because you can do anything about it, but because you don't want to blindly follow someone who seems too good to be true. That's why some Christians will bring up the anti-Christ idea whenever there is someone popular. They wonder "should I trust them", etc. I know it would sound crazy to people who don't believe in an anti-Christ but to people who do, it's just being cautious. Though I wouldn't say I think Obama is the anti-Christ. But I would never say absolutely no about anyone.

Don't know about that. Sure... you have your personal contacts that probably act like they're supposed to... but yes there are quite a lot of basket cases out there. HAL 9000 believes that if the message we're supposed to act upon isn't more based on fixating on living like we're good people, rather obsessed with labeling politicians out of political spite and honest ignorance in what is religious doctrine, then either the message itself is wacko or the people acting out are themselves in need of psychiatric evaluation.

On another note the other day I received a data packet about the Fatima prophecies. Scary times ahead indeed if it is true.

Its the old imposition vs being good oneself bit. Some apocalyptic visions meander between the help thy neighbor stuff and not allowing strangers inside. Since there are so many, I guess the label can also be diversified as well.

We can always remember the name calling coming from the anti-Obama crowd. Obama fans weren't exactly calling the politican The One, The Messiah, etc. In HAL 9000's honest, computerized opinion, its all a bunch of smelly baloney coming from many folks that talk the talk but stray far from the walk about morality, dogma, and living the life that is preached.

Well I don't really disagree. I do believe in being cautious, but also in being wise(though I am sure I fail all the time!).

PlatyPius is the anti-christ.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
