I placed a service request on my EAD as it was over 90 days, the uscis were happy to do this, Today I recieved a notice from them saying it is under review and I should get a response within 60 days :angry: it also said I can make an infopass appointment.

So... I try and make an appointment and it says there are no appointments available, this is so frustrating.

Hi folks!

Done with my biometric for 1-485 last Feb. 17 and just now received another appoinment for both 1-485 and 1-765. And now im worried coz my 1st appoinment letter was only in white bond paper but this time its the same as the receipt notice. Called the USCIS and the lady said nothing else they can do but to appear on the said date. This is so frustrating!!!! Anyone who have same experience?

Looking at the AOS timelines here it looks like CSC is working on those transferred mid-December. So, I'm hoping we'll hear something by the end of the month.

Congrats to all of you getting your green card. We're gearing up for our interview on the 24th of this month.... Hu Ha Hu...

Sal and Jay, keep looking for an appointment. Hopefully the infopass schedule is updated and you should get one soon. Hoping for the best for you!

Mitchamy, that is such a weird weird situation. I wonder why you received such a bio appointment initially on white paper. The silliest things happen sometimes and its so weird that they can't track your previous bio appointment and just link it to your accounts. Some mess up from USCIS I guess. Atleast, on the bright side, it didn't all just get lost, so just go ahead with the second appointment and see what happens. GOOD LUCK and hope you have a speedy process!

12/23/2008 - Mailed back RFE requirements (DAY 19)

12/31/2008 - Case processing resumed for I-485 (DAY 27)

01/02/2009 - Biometrics Appointment (DAY 29)

01/30/2009 - EAD Card production ordered (on hubbz's birthday!! What a nice present from USCIS!) (DAY 57)

02/02/2009 - Got email for AP approved as of 1/30. (DAY 60)

02/09/2009 - Received EAD and AP in mail. (DAY 67)

03/24/2009 - Interview at 1pm - APPROVED! (Thank God! DAY 115)

03/27/2009 - Received Welcome Letter and NOA2 for I-485 and I-130. (Day 118)

04/02/2009 - Received Green Card. (Day 124)

12/24/2010 - Time to file for removal of conditions - I-751

01/03/2011 - Mailed I-751 package to VSC

01/04/2011 - I-751 received and signed for at USCIS

01/07/2011 - Check cashed by USCIS

01/12/2011 - Received NOA dated 01/05/2011

01/29/2011 - Received Biometrics appointment notice dated 1/20/2011

02/03/2011 - Biometrics Appointment (Great sunny day. In and out in 10 minutes! Very pleasant folks.)

03/10/2011 - Status online changed to Approved & USCIS mailed approval notice and card

03/14/2011 - Received 10yr green card in mail (Praise the Lord!)

Hi,

Has anyone on this forum applied in Maryland? Baltimore being the field office? It seems like my application, filed nov 5 in chicago, biometrics done nov 20 is taking a long time. Is it just the local office backup or should I be worried? EAD received about a month ago. No letter for interview yet.

Application was sent to National Benefits Center, and their website has no timeframe for I-485 processing.

It was funny because my husband had requested a Debit card for me, and he had requested a new one for himself too. So he was opening the mail on the other side of the room and he takes out the card, he's like '...uhhh this is not your debit card... It's your Green Card!!'

what a surprise!!

(I also got my debit card LOL I never in my life had carried so many cards around in my wallet B)

Wow..congrats! It's very exciting to get home after a long day of work and see everyone's green cards coming in! Our interview is a week from tomorrow and we're so ready..fingers crossed!

5-13-09: Green card approved.

6-24-09: Received green card.

8-13-11: Received 10-year green card.

2-21-12: Sent N-400 to Dallas Lock box.

7-18-12: Naturalization interview (passed!).
