Kumusta ???? This is Kris i arrived in the US oct.29 thru Houston Texas. The POE officer was very easy; I get finger scan, then he asked me three questions only: 1. What is your purpose coming America?

2. What state will you live?

3. Have you been to US before?

Then he has me sit near his table and tells me to relax while he types. Then he check my papers. When he is finished he returnes my passport and tells me to go. He says he knows my fiance is waiting..:)

Then I search the gate for connecting flight to Atlanta, Ga.

I get lost in the Atlanta airport when i arrive... it is very big..i almost want to go back to Philippines...

I finally ask someone to please call my fiance so I can locate him. He is waiting at baggage claim...hahaha..

When we leave airport, it is very cold to me, the US is very big and cold to me.. never have I been in climate cloder than 23c. but Ronnie has me a coat, so it is a little better. We take train to his truck, then to home. I am nervous about the US, but I am happy to be here.

The next morning I chat with my family for a while and feel more relaxed. It will take time to adjust to the weather, food, and people here, but it is exciting too.

Last night we eat at a mexican restaurant. The food is different tasting to me, and I didn't like it too much. The rice is very different than Philippines. When we come home I make regular rice and chicken.

I am learning the house, how to operate washer, dryer, and rice cooker. :)

Houston, Tx. was easy POE for me, I hope same for others too.

Kris
