well my new wife say she is adjusting to the temp change. going from the philippines where it never gets cold, to indy. and its not even cold yet. i have to give her credit, she is adapting well, and here it was onlly 50. wait till dec when it is close to zero

Claudeth has been here for 3 1/2 years and seems to be doing ok but it has been unusually hot and dry here with the humidity down to 5% from a norm of 50 to 60 so her skin has dried out. She is going to kill me when we move to Colorado after I retire :devil:

It depends on where in Colorado. Here in Denver, it's not bad at all. It snows and then it melts in record time.

Andre came from Jamaica 2.5 years ago and he's still complaining about how cold it gets in fall and winter. He is amazed at how the leaves change each season, though. He loves that part. And, ironically, he loves snow too.

We came to the U.S. in the middle of winter last year. My husband got through it with no troubles at all. We even had snow at the end of April and he was fine. This season it seems to be a different story. I think he braced for the worst and then embraced summer so much that he forgot to prepare himself for the change in weather again. It's barely fall and he's already feeling that it's getting too cold...I think this winter is going to be a little bit harder :(

Its VERY hot for practically November! I think it said 93 degrees here today? My husband is from a similar climate to ours in Southern CA but now Morocco has cooled off and we're still hot like summer! :wacko:
