Gas is $1.99 on the west side of Indy. Still $2.42 in Greencastle.

Hmm...It's going back up because OPEC vows to cut 1.5 millions barrels/day. Lets hope the car manufacturers keep producing those hybrids!

Yes.....But the expected increase could take MONTHS if people don't gorge on cheaper gasoline now, I am thinking it's a supply and demand thing. The more we use, the higher the price. Me, I am all for sticking it to OPEC by still buying less than before. They believe we WILL pay up to $147 a barrel. All we can do is show them that we don't HAVE TO. That's my opinion, anyway.

Most people are still not buying as much gas as before. While the price is lower, the overall $ available to spend are also lower. I'd be happy as hell if it just stayed here for a while. I'm only spending $20/week on gas now.

$3.05 is the closest cheapest price around time. This time around really got a break from costco normaly it's only a couple of cents difference. this time around over 30cents.

I filled up on Friday @ $2.40 (actually $2.399 but...) at Columbia Costco.

Hell, I would be reasonably happy if the price of gas would drop to $3/gallon.

Last I looked, it ws $3.30 or so - even though we have no state gas tax and we extract the oil and refine it into gasoline locally.

prices range from 2.39 to 2.99 here in Morganton. I hope it'll go down a few cents at least for the weekend, I wanna go to Ren Faire. Its kinda far.
