Today is one the the luckiest days in my Life.Became USC,Filed in March 08 and the whole process took 232 days.The happiest part is When I called USCIS,I was connected to the nicest lady working at USCIS.She was so nice and soft spoken .she got so happy for me when I told her that I just took my oath today & now I am calling to upgrade I-130 for my husband(filed March 06) I felt if I was talking to an long time friend and could n't belief I was calling USCIS.It was a very nice experience.She told me that I should get the approval in 2 months(average) as i have been waiting long enough.I hope that gets approved soon now.

Based upon my experience today,the new menu options to talk to a live agent:

1-2-Receipt #-1-3-1

Yes, it seems that they impoved the hold time for customer representative call pick-up.

But other than that, not much of change.

For I-130 petition upgrade, I believe you can fax the request to California.

Thanks Moonhunt, Do you have the upgrade form for VSC ,I called and the lady told me that I dont have to send anything as they will have record.But I will call on Monday to see if my upgrade went through and asked once again if I should send the hard copy.

I don't have a file for VSC.

As far as I know, they need the copy of certificate of naturalization.

So you may have to send the request with cover letter, copy of I-797 NOA1, and copy of certificate of naturalization to USCIS.

Or asked them to provide the fax number for VSC.

You know the form for CSC, so you can make similar form for VSC, and ask them to provide the form.

Then fax the information to VSC.
