My fiance and I were having an unstable relationship even before I left US. This was due to the trust issue. There are many reasons and incidents that made me distrust his words but regardless of how much I doubt his words, I always believed his love for me.

My fiance actually emailed me recently to tell me that he has received the NOA2, he also said that he loves and misses me deeply. However, the next day I found out that he has been dating another woman whom he has already slept with recently. He has also slept with the friend of that woman around the same time.

My world came crushing down, I called him and he lied saying he was drunk. When I explained how serious the impact of his betrayal is on my life, he replied saying that what he has done is my karma and I am evil for trying to make him feel bad.

I love my family dearly but I love him so much that I am willing to move half the globe away to be with him. I was traumatised thinking about the day they send me off. My mom had been very supportive, her priority is always my happiness.

She noticed how depressed I was feeling from missing my fiance and had just told me minutes before I found out the betrayal that I should go US as soon as possible because she wants me to smile... even if she has to sustain the pain.

I cried so hard that mom heard me and came knocking at my door. When I finally open it, she was already crying. I could see the pain, worry and helplessness on her face. She is deeply hurt and when I told her what happened her pain intensified.

Mom loves my fiance like her own son, always concern about him and trying to do what she could to make him feel more comfortable when he was here. She even put a picture of my fiance and I at her working place because she loves us.

Mom consoled me by saying that at least I have found out before I go back to the US. I don't undertand... is this the guy whom I had planned to be spending the rest of my life with, someone whom I had included when I think about my future... the same guy that has robbed the remaining faith and hope I have.

I feel hopeless and dead to know that someone whose love I believe could have done this and worst of all, he doesn't feel the slightest remorse. He could even find an excuse saying that I am a bad person driving him to do this, something which he would have never done if not for me.

Every little thing or even nothing reminds me of him and I remember leaving little drawings on different walls at his place to remind him that I love him. How could he do this?

I am sorry for this extremely long post. In the end, may I ask do I have to do anything or contact anyone if I want to terminate this visa application?

I'm so sorry. hug9.gif

You sound like a lovely caring person with a compassionate family. I know it's painful but I hope you remember that you deserve everything you want and should not settle for less.

You can send a letter to USCIS(CSC) explaining that you would like to terminate the petition but i'm not sure how that works for the beneficiary. You will also want to send the Embassy in your Country a letter stating you do not want to continue on with the petition just in case it does get approved here and tries to move on.

good luck to you.

Agonized,

I am so sorry. I had to withdraw my previous i129f petition for different reasons, I didn't have any problem with USCIS, NVC and the embessay. I wrote a letter to each office explaining my situation. It took about, I think, three months for the petition status to change to withdraw. Again very sorry and hope you have close family and friends to support you.

Fisrtly you deserve more than that, i certainly would not be moving to a different country to try and be happy with a man thats slept with two other women and then blamed me.

i cannot offer any advice as to how to cancel your petition, but just think that you found out now what hes been doing rather than later.

Good luck

OMG I am so so sorry you had to experience this pain! No one deserves this kind of treatment. You seem like a sweet, caring and loving person and I hope and pray that YOU will be over this soon so it does not hurt so bad!

He does not deserve someone so sweet as you and I will not tell you what I think he does deserve.

In the end, may I ask do I have to do anything or contact anyone if I want to terminate this visa application?

I'd wait a couple weeks, then contact the Consulate to inform them you don't wish to proceed. If you receive correspondence from the Consulate sooner, just send it back with a letter indicating you will not be applying for a visa.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous

Oh aw this story sounds familiar to me...been though this before but you know what? I am thankful to God it happened because if not...I wouldn't meet my loving husband...and I wouldn't be this happy right now. I've been praying that God will show some signs to tell me if my decision to settle with that person is the right thing or not. Well, 15 days before my interview we broke up.

"God never closes the door without opening the window". He has a better plan for you girl.

always remember, there is always a reason for everything. someday you will meet a man who will treat you well, someone who will deserve what you have to offer. and when that day comes, you will look back at the past and heave a sigh of relief. so hold your head up high and keep the faith.

I am still crying as I type this.

I wish I could stop thinking, he has successfully crucified me. I am living in agony, I am living in fear. Everything keeps haunting me, I am drowned into confusion each time I am reminded of the memories we shared. I couldn't understand how... there's no justification.

To know that the person whom you wanted to spend the rest of your life has chosen to do this to you... the same persno whom you also believed that he truly loves you.

How could I trust again? I am scared.

I can't even imagine what you are going through right now!!! I just hope it won't haunt you for the rest of your life, as a caring and loving person like yourself deserves so much better!!!! Just give it time. (F)

I had a friend a couple of years ago that was going through this process.

She was American and he was from Ireland. She thought he felt the same way about her, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, that he was just as deeply in love as she was. They submitted a Fiance petition, received their NOA2, their Packet 3, he attended a medical and then he told her that he had passed the interview and he was coming home in a week.

She was over the moon, until she found out that he had lied to her, gotten cold feet and not attended the interview. He didn't wish to be married anymore and move to be with her, so he took the easy way out. What's more is that he had started seeing a girl in Ireland. She was absolutely devastated and said many of the things that you have said here.

That was almost a year ago. Now, she's made a new life for herself. She picked herself up, went back to college, carried on working and went back to what she loved doing; writing, being with animals... if you ask her now about the pain she went through, she would tell you that it was HIS loss and that she's happier than ever; that she deserves someone who loves her just as much as she has the ability to love someone.

I'm very sorry this has happened to you, and ultimately it's your decision whether or not to proceed with the application. Just ask yourself if you're willing to take the risk of losing trust for a second chance.
