Down here, it feels a lot like he'll carry FL - as they say here, whichever way Tampa Bay goes, the state goes. Obama's campaign is very present here and I think - from talking to people - that it is resonating. Combine that with the Great Schlep and FL goes blue. Now here's where I stick my head out the window: I actually think he'll carry OH as well.

I dunno. I am skeptical of both OH and FL, I think both states are full of tards.

I think everyone knows that an exception for something as vague as "health" .... would result in

a meaningless law.

All anyone would have to do is claim at 6 or 8 months of pregnancy that they feel "depressed".

how hard would it be to get a doctor (for $$$ of course) to claim that this dear ladies "health is in question and she needs to abort this 3rd trimester baby.

Obama has no intention of "reducing abortions" and using the "health of the mother" tactic is clear proof.... even in the third trimester he will not take a stand.

Ironically, the term "health of the MOTHER" must ring painful in the ears of those who try so hard to convince them self they were not mothers when pregnant.

McCain's reaction was disgusting. Being dismissive of women's health is inexcusable. Believe it or not, there are women whose very lives are in danger if pregnancies continue--THAT's what people talk about when they insist on allowing for the health of the woman be a factor. It's not about buying someone off because you're depressed--it's about saving a life.

Then you agree with McCain after all because he (and everyone else) is in agreement that the "life of the mother" is a reasonable cause for an abortion.

"Health of the mother" could mean arguably anything from physical to mental to emotional.

Please do not tell me with whom I do or do not agree. And I certainly don't agree with McCain on the issue of abortion. I believe that a woman has a right to choose what she does with her own body, and it's not up to the government to legislate that. Further, I believe that a woman and her doctors can determine whether or not carrying a pregnancy to term would be detrimental to her health, not just in life-threatening instances. It's not up to you to decide.

The you must also be for a womans right to work the corner near your house as a hooker...

since it is HER BODY.

And you must also be against minimum-wage laws... since they prevent people deciding for themselves what the lowest wage it is they will work for.

Actually, I bet the only right you really take a stand on is; a woman's right to chuck their unborn baby in the trash.. piece by piece.

Nicu was one of my specialties for 5 yrs before I advanced my degree in health care... Fetus are easily viable @ 24-25 weeks now with good outcomes..I myself dont understand this late term abortion thing..why not just do c section and adopt out what ALlah created..hmmm
