Got the call at 11:30pm NJ Time. Hanh didn't pass. Green Slip. Emailed M.E. One of the few things they are asking for is my Ex-Wife's address and place of birth. Now I Have to talk to her again!?! :angry: And they want a time line of our relationship. Like 300 pages of chat and email isn't enough proof? This is just crazy. I'm really Pissed. They also didn't like the fact that I'm employed through a staffing agency. That's the way the I.T. field works. 4 to 6 months then you Might be employed at the place you are working. Crazy crazy crazy

There are several people on here that have had similiar situations. Just give them what they ask for and keep on Ellis.

Had to make an Info Pass appointment because there was a delay in receiving the NOA for our I-751. Never found out the reason for the delay but they gave Thao a 1 year green card stamp in her passport and we got a the NOA 2 days later.

After I give them everything, how long will we have to wait? I may be in contact with a friends relative that works for immigration here in the states instead of M.E. I'm not sure yet. I really don't know what to do. Maybe another immigration agent might have more pull? Like I said.... I just don't know. I just want to know how long after they have what they are asking for can she get a visa? Anyone know?

January 21 - Sent AOS, EAD & AP

January 23 - Received package

January 30 - NOA 1

February 19- Biometrics Appointment

March 12- Received notice to Appear for Initial Interview (March 5 notice date)

March 26- AP Received by Mail

March 26- EAD Card Production Ordered by email (CRIS)

March 30- EAD Card arrived in mail

April 13- AOS interview approved (Thanks God)

April 20- Welcome Letter Received

April 25- Green Card Received

No guarantee, but Ellis has got people through AR (Administrative Review) in a couple of months. There have been others that went and turned in the requested evidence and got the pink within a week, or even on the spot if memory serves me correct.

impossible!!! i thought k visas have no denials, if presented with enough evidences? uhmm

YEAH RIGHT! Everybody gets through it eventually, but it could take years.

Hang in there, my brother.

First, make sure you know how much time they have given you, according to the green paper.

Second, take a breather... Put it all down and get away until your head clears. Don't forget to emotionally support your other half in Vietnam...

Lastly, call in all the troops: get help from anyone you can, both here and in Vietnam -after you have cooled off.

Wedding in Vietnam: 12/25/2005 (graduate school, below poverty line, couldn't apply)
[b]August 27, 2007[/b]: 1st I-130 packet sent w/incorrect $190 instead of new $355 fee (Mesquite, Texas).
October 6, 2007: 2nd I-130 packet with $355 fee (Mesquite, Texas).
January 10, 2008: NOA1 March 31, 2008: NOA2 (approved & sent to NVC)
April 14, 2008: NVC sent AOS Fee Bill (Affidavit of Support) $70.00 & DS-3032 form
Received.
April 15, 2008: Faxed wife the DS-3032 agent form to be mailed from Vietnam.
May 5, 2008: NVC sent request for Affidavit of Support form. May 19. 2008: received NVC's request for Affidavit of Support form.
May 20, 2008: Sent off I-864, Affidavit of Support May 30, 2008: Received IV Fee bill for $400 --money order & sent by Priority Mail.
June 10, 2008: I-864 approved. June 11, 2008: IV fee entered in system. June 16, 2008: DS-230 barcode issued
June 30, 2008: DS-230 mailed by expressed mail July 3, 2008: DS-230 package arrived at NVC & under review
July 11, 2008: Case completed at NVC.
Sept. 5th, 2008: INTERVIEW DATE at HCMC: White paper with writing.

Hang in there! Hopefully after you submit everything they ask for, it'll smooth out.

We were initially denied at our interview, too. They wanted a variety of additional information that, to me, had little-to-no relevance to our relationship. After jumping through all their hoops, we got the visa.

Thanks. I'm going to give it a day or two then its war. I'm very supportive and positive with my other half in Vietnam.... but I'm really a mess. She doesn't know it though.

What I think really bothers me is that I have to get in touch with my Ex! There is a reason I got divorced! :angry: How else can I get proof of her current address and where she was born? I have divorce document. That's not enough?

No actually... it all really sucks. But having to talk to my Ex again.... come on!
