I rang Continental Airlines and they told me it was because they put more restrictions on the round trip?? Ok... guess it kinda makes sense lol! Gonna get a return nearly $300 dollars cheaper. Thanks for your reply tho... glad it wasnt just me that couldnt understand it!!!

There is NO logic to Airlines Fairs these days... I fly for Business all the time and sometimes you get get a cheaper ticket two days before your departure rather than planning and booking two weeks before ... its crazy.

I prefer dealing directly with the Airline Directly rather than the EXPEDIAS of the internet because they help you better if you occur problems during your trip and changes are easy ans less costly, sometimes no-cost.

Definaltely buy the round trip ! You may be able to get a refund or Airline Credit for the UNUSED part of the return ticket . . . check it out after or around the date of the return flight . . .

All the Best !

Charles

congratz to you!!

i just started preparing docs for aos.

just some questions i have , perhaps any of you whom have sent their aos could help me :

-do we have to do another medical exam in here..? as my wife had her med exam in her country for k-1 and the doc sent all the med papers directly to the embassy. she only be given a piece of card of vaccine done at that time which she brought here to usa.

-in affidavit of support, what supporting document i have to send along with it.? are they the same docs i sent to for the k-1 visa before?

-all the forms to submit, under "last name" part, should my wife using my last name now as we have already married?

-under "place of last entry.." my wife arrived first at LAX then connected to DFW as our home is in TX...which one should we put. (this confused me)

thank you..every reply and input is much appreciated.

Wife had received her green card one year from the date that we filed for the K-1 visa. Again enormous gratitude goes to the community of VJer's who have helped out tremendously. In two year's time when we go to lift conditions and the following year when we apply for citizenship, VJ shall be our first resource.

Wow! Congrats on the pregnancy, job, etc. Josue's GC got approved 11/23 without an interview, so we are waiting for it in the mail. We also bought a second vehicle last Saturday, so it's a lot easier now with us both working. And...we booked a 3 night cruise for January (found a deal on Travelzoo) to the Bahamas to celebrate.
