Thanks for the info.

I called back tonight and she said that our case was just put in today, and I should call back next friday to see if it has been sent yet. Then she gave me the LND #. I asked her about the case number and she said london would give him all of that. I was hoping for the case number so he could go ahead and get his medical appointment. I heard it would take at least 30 days to get his appointment. Has anyone else got their appointment yet? And if so how long was the wait?

You may want to call back before next friday. NVC also told me to wait 1-2 weeks to call back but I called back

and 2 days later the case had been sent

I am not sure what the average is for medical appointments in London. I know that there is a United Kingdom

Interview Thread on VJ that Laura started.

We were lucky-our wait was quite short for the medical but there does not seem to be many Swedes coming

to the US. In fact the Doctor told my fiance that he performed very few visa medicals.

On fev.24.09 we got the RFE. On fev.28.09 we Sent back to VSC the RFE.On March.03.09 they received the doc.and contact us by e-mail.Since March 03.09 our case got touch MARCH, 03,04,05,06.So I'm so excited ,nervous,and.............yous know all rigth....I don't know what this means....

congratulations for everyone get approved....I still wait for my turns........... :crying::unsure:

Regards,

Impressive turn around on the RFE. From what we have seen here touches are a good thing...Good Luck.

 Some of us are still waiting for the NOA2

Hey SWO13 u and I have the same NOA1 date.... so you and I are on the same rollercoaster.. think there are only 4 of us left with the NOA1 date of the 1st of October. fingers crossed for everyone been really getting me down lately :(

Hang in there, you two! The online system is not very reliable so keep checking your snail mail!

:help: Thanks

Thanks Davchels for the support it does make a difference  SW01 I live in Nottingham England my fiance is the petitioner he lives in Houston...it's rodeo season over there at the minute isnt it??? Makes it harder because we met this time last year. Like you say when you see November being approved and what seems to be the rest of middle/ end of October it makes you feel like they have forgot about us?? The other feeling I have is feeling guilty for moaning about not having my approval when there are people out there that have been waiting far longer than me. I think situations like this can make a couple stronger or tear them apart... it's definately a test of faith!!!! :innocent: I am Michele by the way

Hi Michele. I'm John.

Yes (or maybe I should say Yep) The Rodeo started Saturday.

And yes, waiting and waiting while applications get approved is a little bit hard on the nerves. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it but wait. Can't help having the feelings that go with it either, unless you're a Vulcan or something.

Hey nice to meet you John... well this site is proving to be a real support network! Great stuff everyone!!! I have a question for everyone please if you wouldnt mind?? I think I know the answer anyway... however still gonna ask  So by email they will notify the beneficiary and Petitioner right??? My question is do they do the same by post, or does the approval letter/ notice just go to the petitioner???

When I called yesterday, the representative with whom I spoke (all of whom have been very polite), said "Sir we just received it on Tuesday. You might want to wait until at least next week to call back to check on the status."

I am getting so excited for my fiancée! Can't wait for her interview, as she's one step close to me. She is excited also, which is my great joy.

For some reason I find this poem by ancient Chinese poet, Tu Fu, apt.

Moonlit Night

Tonight at Fu-chou, this moon she watches

Alone in our room. And my little, far-off

Children, too young to understand what keeps me

Away, or even remember Chang'an. By now,

Her hair will be mist-scented, her jade-white

Arms chilled in its clear light. When

Will it find us together again, drapes drawn

Open, light traced where it dries our tears?

Well I dropped Tom off at the airport this morning, he was really excited as he is finally going back to the US to live and work after being away for 4 years. As for me I'm practially crippled at the moment due to a problem with my knee. I can't get a phsyio appointment until the end of March but I don't think I can cope till then. Has anyone tried acupunture? I might consider it if it gets any worse.

hello all...well it's been a week since our touches and still nothing...I'm with Dex in Albany right now and for the 1st time, I got a bit of a hard time at the border. they said that because of the K1, they have to track when I enter and leave the US. So I was fingerprinted and they took my picture, and stapled a little card in my passport that the canadian border people will have to return to them to show that I left the US/entered Canada. They of course asked questions about our relationship and what I do (I'm actually still on maternity leave and don't have a job to go back to, plus I sold my apt last month so really can't show any links to Canada....the question got me nervous!)

So here I am with the girls and Dex ready to look fabulous at Dex' cousins wedding tomorrow! At least the shoes I bought lifted my spirit! LOLOLOLOL I really can't wait to be here permanently. patience....patience...patience.........

Happy to see that everybody's journey is going pretty smoothly since the approval!
