CFO is the seminar filipinos are required to attend before they can fly out of the country.....i already have attended that seminar before i left for my training to the usa i don't think it is really needed but they require everybody. For those going thru K1 or K3 they give another kind of seminar about getting married to foreigners and i heard they show videos on wives who are abused by husbands. For me i think it is a waste of time attending it but i guess it depends on the person. I am educated already and not stupid for those things to happen to me. Since there are a lot of people who go to different countries like overseas contract workers they try to educate them with the change of lifestyle etc. and you have to pay a fee to attend those seminars.

CENOMAR means certificate of no marriage...yup only for filipinos

im sooooooooooo excited i have a feeling we will be getting our nao2 soon.....

i haven't started with anything yet like getting my birth cert, cenomar, NBI coz i want everything to be really updated since i am not working i think i can start getting those stuff when NVC has my documents already. i can't wait i want my NOA2 already please vermont move faster!

I've seen a lot about cenomar lately is this just for Phillipines? Thanks!

Yeah it is just for the Phillipines. I think it's a class on how to stay safe and how to act if you have an abuse husband etc.

Ah, I confused it with CFO, or is that completely different altogether?

Thanks for that. I suppose it's good they are looking out for you, making sure you don't get hurt. As far as I'm aware it seems to be the only country that does it.

School is cancelled due to snow. Tonight I begin my final semester of grad school classes, which seem to be going on despite the weather. I get to sit and talk with my fiancee for a few hours. This is truly heavenly.

It's been raining all day here, that's one thing I won't miss about the UK, the weather.

I check mine daily - no touches yet, but I'm not overly confident that the website remains updated due to all the problems many have had.

I like checking this one:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2

It allows me to see how close October is to begin pouring in. Just a guestimate, several of us will begin seeing NOA2 by around Valentine's day.

I am not sure i understand why you believe we will see NOA2's by Valentines day. When I look at Igors list it looks like they are slowely progressing through August, maybe only 50% complete. This seems to be up 30% from 2 weeks ago. This leads me to believe it will be longer than 1 month before they get to October filers, they still need to complete September.

Am I looking at this all wrong? My NOA1 is dated October 1, wondering when I can expect NOA2.
