JULY 2008 K-1 Filer VSC Checking In

Hey everyone,

Haven't heard even whisper or a "touch" from USCIS in Vermont since NOA1 in August, with a filing date of July 22nd, 2008

I'm just waiting like everyone else. My good friend who got his NOA2 in 62 days thinks he hit the slowest time in February and that was before the flood of apps came in and also when the slowdown started. He also stated that he NEVER got a "touch" or any email from them, just the NOA2 at the door, then got the email a week later, then everything went fast with a total of 5 months start to interview. We should all be so lucky!!!

Just wondering if anyone else from July has heard any whispers of hope lately?

As a minimum, don't expect the NOA2 for 90 days after filing.

The waiting game is hard on everyone and those of us who have been through it understand your pain. Things look like they are speeding up but expect to wait 130 days between NOA1 and NOA2.

The touches are good for piece of mind but don't worry if you don't get them. USCIS does not always update your account even if you sign up for e-mail alerts. My fiance and I never did get notification when our petition was approved....just a letter in snail-mail. I suggest you look at Igor's list for the latest NOA2 approvals from VSC. Once you get the NOA2, things should start moving a lot faster.

Hi guys!!!

We are also a July filer but unfortunately until now there's no touches or updates regarding our case....

We just hope and pray that we will be getting our NOA2 sooooooonnnnn.

Hiya, We are also July filers. We havent recieved any touches either. I figure we are all getting close though so keeping fingers crossed.

I have been very lucky and have been in England with Keith now for almost 6 months. We was hoping things would be done so that he could return home with me but I have to leave on Dec. 1st so it didnt happen the way we had hoped.

I wish now that I had waited one more month before I came over here so that we could spend xmas together but neither of us thought anything about it at the time.

I am so tired of goodbyes at the airport, I just want this to be over with

Well I was nearly a July filer got our NOA1 30th June

Just to let you know that we got our NOA2 on the 3rd November same date as our last touch so from start to finish just over 4 months

Some June filers are still waiting but I think you should all see some action soon

We recieved our NOA2 yesterday I have heard that they are working around the clock and have hired alot more workers so stay positive, its on its way guys

My fiancee rang VSC today. I did tell him he wouldn't hear anything new, but he felt he had to try. The website doesn't work for us.

He did speak to someone, who told him they are aware the website is flakey, and not updating correctly. She couldn't access it either, but did read to him off the in house system.

There's nothing new for us, nothing we haven't already read here. Backed up until March last, can't do anything for you until after 6 months...

Hang in there, be patient.
