Hey Luis Laura....I really do wish you guys luck...you look like a great couple. Ive seen you guys offering alot of jhelp to people on this forum. The ticker says 1month and 17 days since youve started the journey, I could have sworn ive seen you guys around here longer than that. Well Im glad in that case that its not been so long since you guys were together. Maria and I have been continuing the same promise and the same plan we created last June 28th which is the last time Ive seen her. We are onSkype and SunRocket tho each day. In certain ways it seems like June 28th 2005 was years ago in other ways it feels like still just last week. This time tho when we are together again we wont seperate ever again.

I recently read of many interview cancels due to the petitioner (post March 5) now requires a criminal background check. Has anyone also experienced the same treatment?

travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegrams/telegrams_2927.html

Check out the IMBRA threads. Anyone who filed after March 6 is affected. There is no information regarding when the information for the background checks will be provided. No service center appears to be processing anything after March 6 - in fact no one seems to be doing anything. Yes, everyone here is freaking out. I am out of my mind.

Ill admit, for me this isnt as difficult as it is for Maria. For her Id wait forever. Its still very difficult tho. We lived together for months and then sudden seperation. Weve been counting the days and its been almost a year of this nightmare..years from now though this will all seem maybe like a small price to pay to share a future together.

I really respect Maria for putting up with this long distance and seperation and staying faithful and also not to mention the fact that she is willing ot leave her home country for us to be together.

We use skype and sunrocket to stay in constant contact with eachother....and we text each other throughout the day on our cellphones...

Dont give up hope....have a nice long long chat with your loved one and talk it out and decide if you are both willing to go through this nightmare long enough to get through it and be together..

We are decided on staying on this course, of course, we won´t abandon our chance to be happy, ´cus there´s no one else in life for either of us, but it is hard for me ´cus I can´t persue a carreer here ´cus I´m not staying, and right now I just sit and wait. It´s a horrible feeling.

Dont worry I bet you will be together before the years over..

Maria isnt working either...ive thought about it many times that having so much free time to think about must make it seem twice as difficult. Man, this is a torturous process.
