Yeah...he fought for our country, but he got caught.

I respect everyone and anyone who has the courage to put on a uniform and place themselves in harms way, but....

I tend to think of the heroes as the guys who are able to do it without getting caught.

Maybe it's just me, but it's kind of like celebrating somebody who was at the top of their GED class in prison....I mean, it's a good thing, but...

this country is military mad. What the hell difference does it make which one was in the army. Palin said in the debate, 'mccain is the only one who knows how to win a war' So wait, he won vietnam????? No, he didn't, and no the US didn't, and they are going to have the same result in Iraq. It's like he wants to stay in Iraq cos he was so disappointed with the way that vietnam turned out. What a great reason for staying in a bad war!!!

McCain never said we won the war in Vietnam. He wants to avoid the same result in Iraq. What do you consider a good war? McCain fought in the Vietnam war, he didn't have anything to do with it's logistics.
