DJ Osmo yes you do need that medical. The money can be tough no doubt. Everything can be tough for that matter. I think we all put so much blood, sweat, and tears in getting ourselves to this stage, that any little bump can seem like a mountain.

Smallz, I feel your pain! I just had to practically beg my joint sponsor to again let me get at his tax records for photocopying. Then for my USC wife's tax returns, we had to call the IRS and initially I called and waited on hold for an hour of course when the onyle person they would talk to was my wife, who was at work. Duh. ;)

Then she called later, only to order new tax transcripts which take an extimated 10 days to arrive....yeah right! ;)

So once they do, I can then mail them priority (another $20) with the other joint sponsor documents back into USCIS and hope they carry on with my case processing. So all told, only a little over a month lost, when I am counting minutes to my Army SF age deadline. ;( sniff sniff.

Kind of crazy that with all these wars, troop shortages, and B.S. scare tactics that immigrants are in the US 'stealing' American jobs, HAHA, that they dont expedite this process for those who wish to enlist. (Although they do expedite to citizenship for green card holders who are already serving.) Sorry, dont want to take this thread of track.

But anyway Smallz, I'm feeling your pain. I was initially reading all the RFE posts here before I got my own and just thinking, oh man that must be tough. Now i realize the suckage that is RFE! Or should I say red tape bureaucracy and snail paced government processes.

Looks like a few of us might have to drop out of this thread and join the January Filers! :crying:;)

PS> HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!! For all the troubles, anger, and frustration, I still have a hell of a lot to be thankful for!

Oh no I think I may have forgotten something huge. I just got a letter from USCIS about asking my wife medical screening documentation. I now assume this is something I was suppose to submit in my original package. Is that right? Is this something I should have sent in from the beginning. :bonk:

I just thought she was going to get the medical and biometrics done at the same appointment or something. I also found out its gonna cost another $200 to for this doctor to sign off on her. Im so tired of dishing out money. :(

I spent $399 for my medical.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Gosh, i hate to agree with u on that one. I was already thinking maybe i should've joined the November filers since we sent ours on the 28th, but now with all this stuff going on i'm probably far from November filers.

And USCIS is adding to the frustration with this completely useless customer service phone number. The only live person i managed to catch was completely useless unless i needed to change my address. It's like they employ people only to change ur address. And when it comes to something else, they have no idea. The only solution was to make an infopass appointment at the bloody office and i'm gonna go there not very happy.

U always expect to pay money and get good service, but unfortunately not in USCIS case. They **** u up and act like it's your fault. No wonder that there's so many illegal imigrants, because people that are willing to do everything according to law are dealing with this ****

Hey Tony, I have good and bad news for you here. I`ll start with the bad one. If IRS ever mailes you your transcript I`m buying you a dinner in the most expensive restaurant where you live. My hubby had requested them several times and they never arrived... But bills for anpaid taxes never get lost in the mail ;)

But, there are good news too! Taxpayer can request transcripts to be faxed to them. This happens in real time. All you can do is call them again and get a person on the phone and have a fax to receive it.

Hey guys!

Good news! I just received my NOA for an interview for Jan 20! I was hoping to get transferred to CSC, but c'est la vie. No word on EAD or AP. No touches, no updates to the USCIS website since since my applications appeared there in early October. The USCIS works in mysterious ways, but I'm sooo happy to get some good news!

Hopefully stuff will start rolling in for the rest of the October filers!

Yeah, just thinking about it is a little nerve-wrackingl. Regarding the medical, I took my chances and just sumbmitted my vaccination supplement rather than doing the I693. Of the many things they tell you to bring to the interview, one of them is the I693 so I'm going to have to get that done before the interview. Oh well, it's all good!

Happy Thansgiving All! You can add another interview to the mix!! We got our letter yesterday and we are set for Jan 14th! No EAD or AP yet but it looks as if they were a waste of filing time. What a perfect day for our interview as my wife's and daughter's B'Days are the 15th and 18th! What a nice gift! :P:D

I have copies of all that we filed in Oct. Is there anything else other then the typical joint account items that we need to bring? From what I can tell from the NOA, it looks as if we have already acquired all necessary docs. This was not expected so fast. Good Luck Everybody! It looks as if things are moving swiftly for people.
