Mailed AOS (mar. 19 '08) - NO PROGRESS AT ALL AFTER AP and EAD

Hi guys,

We mailed my AOS last march 19, 2008 and USCIS received it on march 25, 2008... i got NOA1, Biometrics appointment, AP approved and EAD card received but that's all...

It has been more than 6 months now and still no development with my case...

Any advice of what we should do?...

You need to relax and be a little more patient. I mailed my application back in December and after I received my AP and EAD card in the mail (in march) I didn't hear anything until the end of August. I am finally going for my AOS interview tomorrow, so as someone who also got tired of waiting I would tell you that you need to be patient. There are people in this forum that have been waiting as much as 3 years for their applications to be approved so 6 months is nothing compared to that. Your turn will come just as mine has.

I think you should check your local office's processing times and if you are within those times, there's is really not much you can do, just wait. You could probably make an infopass with your local office, but I don't think they would be able to help you if your application is within the processing time.

1. Sounds like you need to call them. / Make appointment for INFO PASS.

2. Did you check status on USCIS website for your receipt #'s? Any touches?

3. Update your timeline. You said you've received your AP and EAD, but your timeline says otherwise.

I filed mine in March and had heard nothing since then until I called them yesterday. They told me it had already been assigned and when I checked the website last night, this is what I saw. No interview or touches until this so maybe you should call them. Good luck
