Riiiight Charles....you know exactly the point I was making. You're just sticking up for Marc's stupidity for partisan reasons. Wouldn't it be great if we all called a spade a spade, regardless of whether it was politically bent left or right? In this case, I called Marc on his stupidity. I'd have much more respect for you if you did the same, regardless of who is being stupid on these boards. I think RJ brought this up with you before.

I graduated from an Army education course this summer (its called Intermediate Level Education; it's basically a pre-req for a Major to be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel). Anyways one of the topics we discussed a lot is the fact that the USA's dominance in the world has essentially eroded over the past decade or so. This is EXACTLY what the book Obama is holding is discussing! If this topic is good enough for field grade officers in our military its damn sure good enough for someone running for president. People like rogue can try to use this as propaganda, but anyone with half a brain can see right through this ridiculous attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

As for the pissing contest between Charles & Paul I'm sorry Charlie but I see his point. You are very subtle about it but I do detect a favoritism towards the right wingers when you try to referee a dispute. Example: You scolded me for suggesting that rogue was racist (I'd say he's definitely ignorant & close minded) but people like rogue and kaydee say much worse every day & I have yet to see you scold either one of them.

As for the whole Muslim debate how many of you have even met a Muslim? I worked with a dozen of them every single day for a year in Iraq & I can tell you first hand that most are decent people. Sure they have different beliefs & we don't agree with many aspects of their culture (I believe they treat women poorly, for example) but people are people.
