Waiting on NOA2

Hey everyone!

I sent in the I-129F to VSC August 30 and imy NOA1 says is dated as June 5. Do you think I should call them to check up on our status? Apparently some May and June filers petitions have been transferred to CSC from VSC (???). How did they even find this info out? Would USCIS have sent them out a letter? Maybe I should call USCIS?

Also, I had to update my mailing address earlier in August (I moved) and I got a letter from USCIS confirming that they'd updated my info. On it it lists some of my basic info about our case. However, where it says "Your USCIS Account Number (A-Number):" the answer says "Information not Available" and where it says "Caller indicated they are:" is reads "Applicant or petitioner". So.... shouldn't I have an account number by now or do I not get one til after receiving the NOA2?? Also, shouldn't it read "Petitioner" and not either/or for both? I'm confused, worried and spazzing out a bit! Help anybody? :crying::crying::crying:

Thanks so much guys!!!

Best of luck to you all!

As of:

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!

At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

I know it seems unfair they are approving ppl left and right but not on our date (we filed almost the same time - our NOA1 is May 29th). At this point, you should worry yourself sick. That approval should be coming soon. Just be strong. I know I'm trying my best to :)

HI! We have the same proble. My Fiance lived in florida so we filed the papers in vermont last April 5. Then We got our receipt number on May 9. It's September now and still waiting for NO2. I'm really anxious. How did you found out about the May June filers have been transferred to CSC? What are we going to do now? Did you call the US embassy ?

Thanks for any help you can give...

Hi guys...

Only K3 situations were transferred between VSC and CSC, so no worries on that front. You're still within the normal processing times (right now, USCIS considers cases from Feb. 2 on to be the outer date for processing times), so they probably won't do much for you. Right now, you should just sit tight and keep your eyes peeled for an approval!
