Hello to everyone here :)

I've been reading all over this forum for a few weeks now and totally love it.

I am from the US and my fiance Martin is from England :) We met around June 2006 when i switched to the European servers in the game... World of Warcraft :D (which i think is totally neat) I started playing with another friend from the UK whom introduced me to Martin... and me and him talked and talked... then, about a year later, we decided to meet! He flew here... we went camping... we fell in love, and the rest goes down in history! He's since been here 4 times, and I've flown there once. My boss doesn't care too much for all the time off I take... but with any luck, we won't need to be taking weeks off at a time anymore :bonk:

We have only just begun the K-1 process (and by that i mean we are gathering and scanning documents) and are hoping to send in the package together when he flies here for Thanksgiving in November.

There is so much information to take in that it baffles me sometimes. As soon as I think I have it all in my head... I read something else that needs to be remembered. I feel pretty confident in having enough proof of meeting and definitely proof of an ongoing relationship... it's filling out the forms that totally stresses me out! I can be a total ditz sometimes and I always miss obvious things... I am really hoping i don't make any mistakes with this!

Anyway, there's my intro  This site has been the most helpful place so far for us! I'm sure you all will hear more from me as we move on in the process!

One question I'd kind of like to ask before i end this (Dunno if it's the right place) but is there anyplace on here that has some photos of what the final application looks like before it's mailed? I'm kind of curious as to whether or not I have printed things out too big... or small even :

Thanks a bunch

-Katie

Oh cool! Sounds very similar to me and Martin's story :D I know of a few people that have met up in WoW over here, but never anyone who's met on the Euro servers like we have :) I think it's so neat! Although, we haven't played the game in a few months now....

But, I too am hoping for 2 more trips... and finally be done with saying goodbye!

I am always up for a chat! Sounds like we would have a little bit to talk about too. No one I know over here really gets the whole WoW game... let alone love over a computer! or visas! :P

HI there, Welcome. DOn't you just love this website. I would recommend you get your forms off the USCIS website. They are the most up to date. We both looked our package over 5 or 6 times before sending it and keeping our fingers crossed that everything is ok in it. We just filed September 2. Good luck with your visa journey. Everyone on here seems super nice and you get lots of advice to your questions you post. Take care.

Good luck, newbie.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
