Alaska oil prices drop below $100

Published: September 11th, 2008 08:11 PM

Alaska oil prices dropped below $100 a barrel today for the first time in six months......Oil prices have plunged 31 percent since peaking at $144.59 on July 3. But despite falling below $100 a barrel, the price is still above the official state projection of prices averaging $83.04 during the current budget year, which ends next June.

):

Maybe Bush can start another war before he leaves office, to boost oil prices.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Uh....it's not based on oil prices. It's based on investment returns over the previous 5 year period. But thanks for playing.

High oil prices are good for Alaska because it's more income for the state treasury. It's like....high orange or wine prices for California, except a lot more so because natural resources are all we have.
