I believe they will start giving out the interview date on second of November.

Khaleda, thanks a bunch but from your timeline, it looks like about 10 days or so that you received the interview letter?

Thanks Kman, you are almost done too.

NVC normally assigns interviews on the first 2 weeks of the month. Since you were approved yesterday, you missed the cut off date. So I believe your interview will be assigned on the first 2 weeks of November.... Hope that helps!

Hopefully, by the time it reaches to the consulate, i'll get it.

So i think theywill assign on First and 2nd week of Nov.

I think NVC aasignes the interview first before sending the file to Consulate.... I am not sure though. Either way, it will be there by ur interview date.

Thanks. It's going to be January interview for us. My husband won't get his passport back until next Wednesday, then it takes a week for the police clearance. so by the time he sends it back, it will be in time to be scheduled for January. That's okay though at least we are almost there.

MrsRowe, after January, all this will be history and you won't have to think about it anymore. I will never remember this 2008 year in my life. 2007 was a good year in which i got married and then it is 2009 where i'm with my husband starting a new life. 2008 does not exit for me . Think about it!!!!

I got a false RFE in the mail today. Interesting since I never actually got Packet 3 in the mail since I paid online. Hopefully my case will be complete this coming week.

I need a little advice. Like usual. My hubby just received the K3 appointment package and I was going to try to do the process where you change your interview from a K3 to a CR interview. It says though that I have to send in all of the original documents to them which is impossible because I just sent all of our originals to the NVC. Shall I just cancel the K3? And how would I do that? I just overnighted our IV Package to NVC this morning before work. I'm confused.

I kind of asked the same question before and the answer I was given was to just ignore any corresspondence that we receive regarding the k3. Dont cancel anything just ignore it and dont send anything back. I hope this is the right answer because that is what I was told here on VJ.
