10/05/2006 filled :)

05/03/2007 interview -> AP -> hell -> AP -> 9 months of AP Hell - 2 home visits :(

01/26/2008 visa in hand with a typo :(

02/03/2008 2 weeks more of waiting.... Visa in hand...... :)

2/20/2008 on US soil :)

2/21/2008 marriage :)

AOS

03/12/2008 Sent AOS/Work/Travel

03/16/2008 shows delivered chicago

4/12/2008 check cashed :)

4/13/2008 NOA's for all 3

4/18/2008 bio letter

4/29/2008 bio appt.

5/06/2008 RFE 2007 tax return

5/07/2008 returned RFE overnight

5/08/2008 received-lees summit

5/12/08 case updated online/RFE received

5/27/08 checked the website for the third time today -says AP and EAD approval letter sent 5/24- it was not updated online till today - and no e-mail update either

5/27/08 emails sent in afternoon AP and EAD approvals

5/29/08 AP touch

5/29/08 email EAD card production ordered

6/02/08 AP in hand

6/03/08 email EAD card mailed

6/05/08 EAD card in hand :)

7/28/08 AOS letter received

9/02/08 AOS interview

9/10/08 card production ordered email :)

9/17/08 welcome letter email and snail mail arrive same day

9/19/08 Greencard in hand :)

Well, he is the one I asked about earlier last week. He came on K-3 but it ended in divorce due to her going nuts. We found out last week that as soon as he left her home..he was supposed to leave the country. A lawyer had told us (when he first left her) that he could stay the duration of the I-94 (I think it was) that was stamped in his passport but that was false information (or old info). I looked around in one of the links someone posted in my inquiry thread and found that if they stay 180 days past their visa expiration then they get a 3 year ban but if they stay more than 1 year past the expiration then its a 10 year ban.

*sigh*

I'm so sorry Amal. These things are too tricky sometimes.

I know...It's too bad that there are so many bad ppl in this world that they can't make exceptions in cases such as this. *sigh* oh well

Happy Monday :dead:

Oh the drama never seems to end the past few weeks :help:

I haven't been posting much, but just general depression and overextension kicking in. I have to choose where I spend my energy :blush: I'm torn in so many directions right now that I feel like I can't do anything right and I can't give 100% to any one thing. My husbands solution: quite my job and work with him on the buisness :bonk: not such a great idea for so many reasons :wacko:

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

FEDX called me today to get my package lol , was looking for it since 4th Oct , the funny thing that my package was in UAE ( Dubai ) and Qatar :blink: weired . now its in Amman so i will get in tomorrow :D

Ok, I just got an email from USCIS for a request for evidence on our I485. It seems to amaze me that they need more evidence when I sent them a stockpile of stuff I don't even think they will need. I'm a ball of nerves now, I wish immigration was over with.
