Hi Everybody, I got my EAD card from the mail last Dec. 24. Sorry the holidays were so busy I didnt have the time to share the news with you guys. Envy me can you update me in your list. Thanks a lot and Happy New Year to all!

I can see that we are more and more getting all our papers on the way !! And I am in, I got my EAD card yesterday in the mail, feels good to see that I can finally can do something.

0r anyone who already has their interview date.....along with a letter, did the interview date also show up on your case status online? Just wondering.

I got my interview letter without any update. I don't think they update it for the interview letter, I think updates are for EAD, AP and/or case being transferred.

Hi Envy,

My EAD card was in the mail when we got back home last night, the date on the card is the 18th Dec I think. I'm gonna go get me my drivers license back today. :dance:

Update:

i went with my husband for his Infopass appointment as it is 98 days and still no EAD.

they didn't really give us much news or hope to hold on to...

all she said was that they haven't made a decision on our case yet; that she would send them an e-mail to open up and look at the case; that they would contact us by mail. i asked if there was a problem with our application, and she said she couldn't tell either way... she said they could still reject the application, if they wanted... :unsure:

then she had me double-verify our address. for some reason, they have us down as New York, New York, instead of Brooklyn, New York, which is infuriating, considering how many times i've had to give them our address these past few weeks. :angry: she said she'd ask them to correct it.

so, that's it.......

i hate them...

When I called them for Interim EAD, I was told I will get response from them within 5 days. I got an email today stating that they are still working on it and I will get the response within 60 days from today. I am like #######. It has already been 90 days and they want 60 more days. I have never seen such a incompetent agency. It is an immigration office of USA and everybody would imagine that they should be advanced but they are slower than snail.

It sucks

A quick update on our case. My wife opened the envelope with an EAD card in it and another with an interview for the I-485 on 02/09/09.

AOS Process

09/04/08 - Sent I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131

09/15/08- Received NOA for I-485 and I-130 dated 09/12. No NOA for the I-765 yet.

09/22/08- Received Biometrics Appt for I-485. Oct. 7th

09/22/08- Recevied Biometrics Appt for I-765 Oct. 8th

09/30/08- touched (probably to determine alternate add on file)

10/07/08- i-485 Biometrics Appt code 3(done)

10/08/08- i-765 Biometrics Appt code 2(done)

10/06/08- i-130 touched

A quick update on our case. My wife opened the envelope with an EAD card in it and another with an interview for the I-485 on 02/09/09.

Well I guess you have done all you can do, maybe you'll get an update today, NOA got one after a few hours. I hope you get one too.

I haven't heard anything either..............I will make an infopass as well for next week...that is all we can do.

it's just really disheartening b/c like so many others, we've done everything we're supposed to do!

yes, make an appointment. i don't know where you live, but it took us about a week to get an appointment... you can always cancel if you get an EAD notice before then!

When I called them for Interim EAD, I was told I will get response from them within 5 days. I got an email today stating that they are still working on it and I will get the response within 60 days from today. I am like #######. It has already been 90 days and they want 60 more days. I have never seen such a incompetent agency. It is an immigration office of USA and everybody would imagine that they should be advanced but they are slower than snail.

Don't give up just yet, it looks like you're starting on the same process I went through. I got that email too, then 4 days later I got another one saying my AOS had been moved to California and then another week later I got an email saying EAD card production ordered and at that time my AP came through on the website. So hopefully this is the start of some good news for you. :star:
