On September 3, 2008, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. It means you submission was missing something critical. When you receive the actual notice, you'll know what was missing and how to respond.

Yeah, I would just say sit tight until you get that letter so you can determine what they need, send in what they want and you should be OK.

You will receive a letter in the mail telling you exactly what you need to submit, or re-submit. We had to send another copy of the medical report because the doctor used the old form and didn't have the correct page for immunizations. It could be anything. Don't worry......yet.

Often they will send a request for something you already sent (for whatever reason). It happened to us a couple times. If that turns out to be the case, just send them another copy of whatever it is...

It also happened to me ... they asked for a W-2s that , I`m 100% sure, we have already sent them with all documents. But oh well, I`m glad that`s all they asked for ... Hope I won`t see any more of RFE letters!
