The economy is gone to pot with the Reps, and they are not at all interested in your economic welfare. Why is better to have less tax, but everything else be expensive, than have the same level of tax but the economy be better, so people's incomes are raised?

You think the Dems care about your ecomonic welfare? What do you mean by "same level of tax", and how would that make the economy better? Do you really expect the government to create wealth for you, or that the economy should not have ebbs and flows? Seriously?

As a Country we should be ashamed of what we have done in Iraq. Saddam deserved what he got, there's no doubt about that, but the soldiers and civilians who have died didn't. All for a lie (and oil). the biggest drain on your pocket right now is the dumb a$$ war that is going on. No, I don't expect the government to create wealth for me, but the current administration got a healthy balanced economy to start with, and will be handing over a mess. A bad economy has real impacts on jobs, people keeping their houses etc. Things that impact on the quality of life of it's citizens. The Reps have squandered not only your money, but the money of generations to come, by multiplying the national debt.
