Hi guys and gals. I am sending off my I-864 package on tuesday. Should I bind it all together like in the I-130 package or just leave it all lose but in order as per my cover letter?

I used small binder clip. Overnight express mail it as well.

I am about to send my I-864 to NVC too. Acording to NVC, all pages need to be in the correct order and stapled together. So I guess we have to use follow what NVC says.

I got one problem  . The envelop provided by NVC is not big enough to fit all pages of I-864 package. I wonder if I can use a bigger envelop of my own and just put NVC's envelop in the package.

I think we should use clips instead of stapling everything. It could be very annoying if these NVC agents have to take them apart. I haven't send my I-864EZ out yet but I am going to just use clips instead of stapling or binding anything.

I wouldn't staple anything together. Also take the papers, put in the express mail mailer provided by the USPS and that is it...NO need to used the evelope the NVC provides. Address the express mail mailer correctly. I put my NVC case number under where I wrote my city, state and zip code. Included in the USPS express mail you can track your mail online and see exactly when it is delivered to Portsmouth, NH.

I agree, why would you staple your original documents and damage them? Plus, very annoying for the NVC person who would have to take it apart.

Just use your own judgement, for items that you think belong together, use paperclips, for the entire package, one big paperclip/other clip.
