Hi everyone. Got my early morning wake up call from Hachemi. Great way to start the day everyday. Talked to him for awhile on skype. I have been trying to get him ready for the interview. I dont think he will have any problems. He is not shy about talking and is very bright and good with people. I guess I will clean house today. I have been putting it off all week. Got to go buy some cleaning supplies first. I want to clean these wood floors and I need the swiffer woodcleaning liguid. Oh well, off to (shhhhh, dont let Icey hear me say this!) Wal mart! Icey hates Wal Mart, hehehe. Everyone have a good day.

I've been pretty busy all day. The kids and I hiked down to the lake and walked the horse trail back into the woods. Found a beautiful little brook, saw a momma duck and her 5 half grown babies, a copperhead snake swimming in a pool, 2 black swallowtail butterflies playing in a patch of sunshine... It was wonderful. I found a "special place" back there... a big flat stone in the middle of the brook under a canopy of trees, just big enough for 2 people to sit and forget about the world. Mohammed's going to blow a cork when he sees this place. It's a world of GREEN and cheerful water sounds and birdsong. I may spend a lot of time there. Then I went and bought pots and flowers and added some color to my balcony. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a total nature freak. Last night had a racoon waddling around across the parking lot. Not much competition for Amy's camel though.

Been cleaning up the house, cut the boys hair and will work in the yard some later this evening once the sun sets somewhat. Too hot now. I have still a lot of things to get ready for his arrival. Time is getting away once he finally finalized his ticket yesterday. Sounds like everyone is staying busy.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I've been cleaning and organizing like a mad woman all day/weekend/week... David arrives tomorrow for a 4-week holiday!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!! His first trip to the US in 20 years...

Headnig out to mow the lawn now... weather's been ####### and my grass hasn't been cut yet this season... going to be a chore and I'm SO tired. But thoughts of my David will keep me going!!

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I don't watch the Sopranos but I will be watching BIG LOVE!!!! That's my favorite show nowadays. :luv: I just wish they would tone down the sex scenes a notch or two (or twelve LOL). It used to be Sleeper Cell on Max until they ended that.

Been a busy weekend for me. Hate to admit that I'm kinda glad it's over. Spent the weekend finishing up some unpacking, cleaning, laundry and last minute shopping. :dead: Trying to get things somewhat ready for Simo. Praying like crazy that he gets a phone call to pick up his visa tomorrow. :help: If so, he will be on his way to Atlanta this Thursday. Getting ready to go watch Sopranos and Big Love too.... Hope everyone has a nice relaxing night tonight.
