I had a roommate back in college who used to go out with this "aight" looking guy. One day he came over, sat on the couch, hung out and left. She then laid on the couch and stood right up and said "what's that smell?!" She smelled the area where his butt had been and according to her, it was nasty. I didn't have the courage to smell it, nor did I want to but never sat on that couch ever again. His nickname from that day on was "Stinky butt", in fact to this day he's still known as "Stinky butt".

Aye....as Ron White is famous for saying "There are lots of things in life you can fix...but ya can't fix stupid."

All this fixation on looks and weight here on VJ...funny or not, I don't understand it. Maybe it's good that I don't.

IMHO, making fun of another human being for whatever reason shows a real lack of maturity and tact. I try hard to instill good character in my students so that they will be considerate of everyone else around them. I really hope it will be something that they keep with them. If not, it's not because I didn't try.

Oh, and tats...one of my grade 5 kids put it brilliantly last term:

"Mrs. P, do you know those tattoos that look like barbed wire?"

"Yes, I've seen them."

"Do you know that one day they will look like a picket fence?"
