Hi all,

I dont know if this is the right forum to post or not.I came here on a B1/b2 visa and after a stay of almost 90 days married my fiance. Now my visa expired on June 15th.So I am overstaying. Now I have to go back due to some reasons and may not return back.

Can someone tell me what happens ??

a)As i know one has to submit his I-94 to the flight staff .......do they question about the overstay ??

B) Do the Indian port of entry question and create trouble , as the visa expiration date in stamped on my passport.

Thanks

Leaving the country with an overstay will not cause any problems. Trying to return later on another visa might, depending how long the overstay is.

Generally an overstay of less than 180 days is not a problem for later US entry. Leaving will not cause a problem at all.

Nobody will look at your passport and say... "Are you aware that your I-94 is expired, and because of this situation you cannot leave and must continue to remain here illegally...." The airline staff will only be interested in if you have the appropriate documents to present yourself at the border of your expected arrival country.

YMMV

If you had a multiple entry B2...it is now invalid.

Dont plan on getting a new one.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
