Finish your papers? You want to stay here?

Are you trying to change your 2 year card to a 10 year card? Hope you get some good advice cuz mine would be to buy a plane ticket and pack.

j

 I seem to think you have to have a sponser to remain in the states??? could be wrong. It's been known to happen

I thought people could self-petition for removal of conditions, they just have to prove that the marriage was entered into in good faith. Am I wrong?

You are wrong. A sponsor is not needed to remain in the States.

Sorry your marriage is not working out, but I am glad to know that your husband are willing to help you with the paper work.

You can have your divorce finalized and then file for self-petition. Have your husband write a letter stating that it was a good faith marriage.

They'll still have a sponsor as divorce doesn't terminate sponsorship.

That's totally inappropriate and awfully presumptuous.
