Hello Fellow VJers,

I am super busy working and doing full-time University classes but still checking in hoping to see approvals and yet again disappointed they are putting everyone through the same old excuses game.

Yader&Sarah- I got 2 copies of the same letter with different dates from the NVC too. I guess they are too busy sending extra copies to all of us instead of actually getting those who are stuck in AP processed.

Terri and Seb- I am really excited :star: to see how well things are coming along with your case. I remember awhile back you say you are using the new I134 form (non-notarized) let us know how that goes. I been seeing some interesting reviews of the London embassy interviews that has even made gather additional documents, so I am super curious to hear how your interview goes.

As far as my own case goes Nic booked his medical for next Friday the 13th and we got our packet 3 sent off yesterday so I guess for us it is waiting for the rest of the papers to come in the mail and him to complete his medical. I hope that the processing centers start to get it in gear for everyone else waiting. Trust me I know all about waiting and how fed up you get. I realized yesterday it will be 5 years of us being apart and going back and forth across the ocean. 5 years!! We talked about how when he is finally here it will be the first time we have ever known the feeling of actually being together without of the feeling of separating in a few days and crying at the airport. I know the journey for everyone is stressful but trust me soon it will be finished and all the waiting, even years of it, will seem like nothing and more than worth it.

WOW, Congratulations, a record holder. Quite the honor. :innocent::dance:

I guess I am not far behind, but instead of being stuck at NVC, I am stuck at embassy. NVC date was 12/30, embassy letter was dated 1/7, so it has been in AP since then. I just donated another $23 or so to the embassy's question service so they could tell me "Your case is currently under review at this office. We regret we are unable to advise you with any degree of accuracy how much longer the reviewing process will take. We will contact you as soon as the necessary review is completed.

Please wait to hear from us. "

After receiving those kind words from them, I feel so much better! I am glad my money was so well spent!:devil:

USC have to pay money to contact the embassy? Are you serious??? Please tell me I am mistaken?

No mistake, they charge you. From what I have read, it is a lot more in Japan than other countries. About $21 for an email, $23 for a call (not including long distance fees). It is unbelievable that they dont have a number for USC to call to follow up on visa issues.

On another $$$ note, hope everyone's medical is cheaper than ours. Grace and daughter went today, cost about $900 for their exams, cost about $970 for their exams with 2 shots for her, 3 for her daughter. That doesnt include cost of getting their - not sure yet, but I think that was over $400 too.

Japan is an expensive country. I need to get her out of there before our baby is born or I will have to sell everything I own and cash in my retirement funds just to pay for the baby if she is there.

If anything, not many people care about the US Embassy in Zagreb, or the visas they could obtain, so it's perfectly free to contact them. As for NVC, thank god Skype is cheap.

Meh. Meh. Meh.

DHL hasn't been working for me, so I can't even track the packages. Next time one to Croatia appears, I'll be calling New Hampshire again. Probably to just hear that we're still in AP, but oh well.

Thank you! I would add more pictures, but I dont know how you compress them into smaller sizes like some of you have shown, so Just one picture filled my size limit.

She is due June 29th. She is almost 19 weeks now. I am not sure which is more expensive, sending her back and forth to the Philippines (where she was normally visiting doctor and getting paperwork done) or the doctors in Japan.

Oh well, I dont really care. It is only money - I just need to find another money tree to pick the cash from. Until then, I can be in debt until I die, as long as I am with her and our kids are OK, I will be happy.

Congratulations HABIBI!!!!!!!!!!!!
