Congratulations for all approvals and scheduled interviews this week!!!

For those still waiting on NOA2 or Stuck @ NVC.....hang on in there!!!!

I, being someone stuck @ nvc, was wondering if my fiance can do his medical exam now since we do have our case number or does he have to wait until our file is received by the embassy? Is there somewhere to download the medical forms?

Apparently the woman at NVC said she has no idea why our NOA2 says what it does.. she said they usually say that the case has been sent to NVC as opposed to the Consulate!! What is wrong with these people..

Anyway she said our file was sent to London two days ago..

I am really supprised by this. It seems to me EVERYTHING from USCIS is Form Letters - Including the approvals, only difference is name and petition numbers. Anyway, glad it is on its way. I hope it actually is. I called NVC and they told me mine had already been sent also, I checked DHL site and found a package sent on 12/30 to Tokyo from New Hampshire, and I asked when they sent it and they said on 12/30, so I think mine is there already.

Unfortunately, due to my complications, I cant schedule the interview until I figure out what I can do to get a Visa from Philippines to Japan. Normally they need request letter from Japanese citizen or company, but I dont know if they will accept request from American citizen or Philippines citizen that is living in Japan.

Maybe I could contact my company connection in Japan and ask them to help, but that is an awful big favor and a string I dont really want to pull unless necessary.

Congratulations for all approvals and scheduled interviews this week!!!

I am curious about this too - seem like I remember somewhere reading that they request a copy of the sheet from the embassy, but others dont, so it may depend on the country.

It depends on the country I think, for example in Venezuela medical exams are valid for 6 months, I found this information on the US Embassy Page of Caracas. you should check on yours! Also, in Venezuela is a list of Doctors and Hospitals where you have to take your medical exams .... you can not go just t any hospital here.

Try reviewing your local embassy webpage.

Good luck!
