Hello,

Looks like I will be spending a lot of time here now too, as an August filer at CSC.

Doesnt look to crowded in here ;)

I have my I-129F package complete and ready to mail tomorrow, Friday the 15th of August.

I am ready to let this thing go. I have looked it over so many times.

I thought I was a very patient person. People tell me how patient I am, but this process to allow me to be with the love of my life has pushed me beyond my tolerance for patience.

Best of luck and quickest of speed for approvals for all August Filers.

We managed to get our case number from the check image online and registered at the uscis website. It says our application was received on August 12th. NOA1 sent out August 12th. Touched August 13th. We have yet to receive the hard copy of the NOA1, so we are waiting for that :)

Package was mailed Friday, 15 August 2008.

It arrived at the P.O. box for CSC with a "notice left" on Saturday, 16 August 2008.

I assume this is because of the signature for delivery confirmation.

Now i wonder when they will sign for it and pick it up.

We keep checking, waiting for the signature.

Neither of us have any patience at all. :help:

How do you know it's been "touched". I see there is updated section in my information on that site, does it only update that date and you just have to keep track of the last date or does it reflect an ongoing history with information about it when it has been handled? (F)

from what I understand a "touch" is just a date change. on the site, it means your file has been "touched" for some reason. this early in the game, it is probably just being put in a file box :-). My date changed to one day after my NAO2, but i think it was just being filed.

My lawyer just informed me of a NOA1 notification for my case. He told me to checkmy mailbox at home for my NOA1.

And the journey continues!

I know this forum is for CSC filers, but I received my NOA1 today as a VSC filer.

04-21-2008 - Wrote to each other for the first time

07-22-2008 - Met in Bangalore

07-30-2008 - Got engaged

08-05-2008 - Mailed I-129F (K1 Visa) Petition to VSC

08-06-2008 - I-129F (K1 Visa) Petition received by VSC

08-13-2008 - Check cased

08-18-2008 - NOA1 received

08-18-2008 - I-129F (K1 Visa) Petition "Touched"
