Ok, now I am freaking out. I went to the USCIS doctor and got TD and HPV. I was organizing all the paper work and found out that the lady at the office marked DT instead of TD. DT is for kids.

I already sent everything to USCIS. Does USCIS contact the doctor directly? It is so retarded if the doctor gave me a shot for kids. I am really hoping that I do not get RFE. Everything is so crazy.

I called up the doctor's office and the other nurse said oh she just made a mistake. Oh great. Now, all my paperwork is at USCIS. Should I call USCIS and let them know that there is an error on the paper? or just shut my mouth and wait for RFE?

Dont' even sweat it until you receive a RFE. They may just glance at it and move on. I cannot empahsize enough, do not worry until you are given a reason to worry.

All I did was send in a copy of Jomo's vaccination card he's had since childhood and they approved us without a RFE or interview.

for me you rather wait for the result if it has an RFE or not.

Thank you everyone. Ya, my husband said just wait. I still have all the copies. It would be so retarded if the doctor gave me a shot for kids by mistake. The nurse said there is a record that I got TD. If I get RFE, I will simply go there and ask them to fix the problem. Well, the form has a phone number for the doctor and hope that USCIS can call up the doctor instead of sending RFE.

I wouldn't worry so much about it. For all you know they'll look past it or might not even recognize that.

Thank you so much everyone. I really appreciate you. Ya, I should stop freaking out. I am just so annoyed by people at the office. They do not even understand how complicated this AOS or immigration process is. Oh, just simply fix and remail? I wish I could do that so easily. They are just so careless.

I will be more patient and try not to think about. I do not mind if my AOS takes a little longer. But, I really need EAD. I am so desperate for working. I need to earn money.

Whether you write DT or TD that is the same shot usually given to children.

The appropriate adult immunization is dT. It is probably a clerical error, but as far as you are concerned you received an effective immunization against diphtheria and tetanus. The only difference (if they did give you DT) is a little bit higher rate of reactions and not that you wouldn't be protected against both diseases.

So your immunized. I don't think they'll care that they wrote capital D instead of small D.

Dr Joe

I'm adding that if you actually received DT you should not be re-immunized with dT until another booster is due (10 years)

Thank you so much. Well, the nurse said I got the right kind and it does not matter if it is DT or TD.Well, you know, some weird USCIS officers can be very picky. But, it is a simply error.

 breathe

if you keep thinking about your AOS packet you'll just keep finding things that could possibly go wrong. Even if you get an RFE it's not the end of the world to warrant such worry. Everyone gets them.
